Let’s talk about Sunday night’s TV!

AMERICAN IDOL: Holy moly, Grace blew away the competition. I think some of the contestants were hurt a bit by their songs not being as familiar (sorry, Cassandra), but even with the lesser known of the FROZEN songs, Grace absolutely dominated the stage.

Arthur certainly deserved to continue on, but if he wins it all…it’s going to feel odd. And unfair.

THE EQUALIZER: I feel awful for Robyn and Dante, who are both right to feel the way they do. Robyn needed to do what she did to get the results she did and save Dante’s life, especially because she’s not constricted by a code of ethics/behavior mandated by her job. But for Dante, who is an officer of the law…he can’t condone her behavior or actions.

It feels quasi-early for them to reach this point of apparent no return, so I’m curious how the show navigates it from here.

LEGENDS OF TOMORROW: I missed this wonderfully weird show so much. Ava’s checklist for the team was perfect. Their meeting David Bowie was perfect.

With Sara abducted (with alien Gary!), I’m fascinated to see how long the show keeps her apart from the other Legends. It’s a good spine for the season, but can they sustain it? (Frankly, it feels dumb as hell to question them given how many bonkers things they’ve pulled off.)

ZOEY’S EXTRAORDINARY PLAYLIST: The Queen number!!!! My goodness, that was fun.

I know we’re not approaching the planned end of the show, but it really feels like things are wrapping up…how are things going to unravel?

THE ROOKIE: Man, I’ve missed Emily Deschanel on my TV. I hope she works as much as possible/she wants. I was with Nolan and optimistic that his kid would survive (it felt too dark, this late in the season, for there to be any other outcome), so I’m glad they got that peace.

Uh…anyone else worried about how bad this war is going to be?
