About Last Night…THE VOICE and DEBRIS

Let’s talk about Monday night’s TV!

THE VOICE: Okay, so apparently the way to get me to watch a recap special is by pairing it with nostalgic footage from the ten years of the show. I’ve been watching/covering since the start, and I do wish they had paid a little homage to what has happened and the bonkers lineup of coaches they’ve had in the past 20 seasons, but I get this was primarily about focusing on the current crop of contestants.

(But, it’s also INSANE Kelly Clarkson and John Legend’s first-ever button pushes were for contestants who would go on to be winners on the show?)

DEBRIS: I’m so curious what the fallout of this episode is. Finola and Bryan didn’t remember what went down, but they were filled in. Will knowing how hard they fought to get back to each other change things? (I love this partnership so, so much.)

And Maddox not having that confrontation with his wife…will that make him distracted going forward as he wonders what’s going on? Or will he be more in control than he would have been if he knew the truth?
