Let’s talk about Monday night’s TV!

THE REPUBLIC OF SARAH: How absolutely charming? This is the kind of show that makes me want to snuggle up with a blanket and hot chocolate and binge. It’s absolutely fascinating this could be done, and also incredible to think about all of the possibilities that world. But, also, in thinking about the show pre-pilot I didn’t even consider the legal ramifications. So…it’s going to be interesting to see how Sarah navigates that in addition to trying to navigate a burgeoning independence and the complicated dynamics with her brother.

CELEBRITY DATING GAME: Well, uh, this doesn’t feel like the show for me. (Also, it feels like such a stretch to call Michael Bolton a co-host, when he’s basically a musical guest?) And it’s a pandemic, so…did they go on the date? If it’s going to be entirely without a point, the show/game should be fun, and it just…wasn’t.
