As LUCIFER’s six season run comes to an end, series star D.B. Woodside (Amenadiel) admits he’s a little hesitant to speak to what the show’s legacy will be.

“My experience with this show has been absolutely amazing,” Woodside says in the video below. “It’s definitely my most favorite [experience]. It’s the show that really introduced me to directing, at least professionally. So that’s starting a new chapter in my life. It’s a place where I’ve met some dear, dear friends. But as far as legacy, I think legacy is something that we don’t have a hand in.”

“I think that’s time,” he continues. “The show’s hot right now, the show’s incredible, I love it for personal reasons, but I wouldn’t be so arrogant as to presume what the show’s legacy will be. I’m going to be watching, like everybody else…I hope it’s around for a really long time. I want people to look back on this show in 5,10, 15, 20 years and think that it’s an amazing six seasons of television. That’s my wish. But that’s going to be up to everyone out there. I hope they feel as strongly about the show as I do; I hope they feel that this little show touched them in a way that they will remember for the rest of their lives.”
