THE REAL DIRTY DANCING, FBI: INTERNATIONAL, NEW AMSTERDAM

“One Point One Million Followers” – When a notorious American tech tycoon becomes involved in a murder in Frankfurt, the Fly Team must chase him down amid the local protesters he’s incited with his conspiracy theories via social media. Also, Jaeger relishes working in her home country, and Forrester must make a decision involving his mother’s past, on the CBS Original series FBI: INTERNATIONAL, Tuesday, Feb. 22 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+*. Let’s talk about Tuesday night’s TV…

FBI: Ohhhh, OA, that was a bad call. I get it: OA has long-struggled with how to balance his commitment to the job with his commitment to his community, but I wish he had spoken up and been honest about the antics Rashid Bashar was up to.

THE REAL DIRTY DANCING: While I was personally rooting for Anjelah and Tyler, Cat and Corbin were also great. I’m really glad both pairs were able to do the lift. And, honestly, with only two teams left, we actually got to see more of them practicing, which was something I wish we had seen more of during the earlier portion of the show.

FBI: INTERNATIONAL: Elizabeth Mitchell should be on every show. I don’t make the rules.

Scott deciding to turn on his mother and then not made sense, for better or for worse. I assume his next step will be finding the real file she wanted him to see? I’m really glad Jamie realized what was going on, though; even if they’re broken up, they’re still good teammates and friends.

NEW AMSTERDAM: Oh, man, that Lewis storyline broke my heart; Ryan Eggold directed a beautiful, emotional fantasy sequence where Lewis got to image his daughter’s wedding. I’m also really glad Reynolds helped Max get the fired workers back on their team/side/in the fight, because, seriously, how the heck are they going to take down Veronica?

The end Sharpwin scene was gorgeously handled, but I’m so curious how long they keep Helen in London. With Max and Helen there, it made sense to balance the storytelling, even if it was much more short-lived than I expected…now, while it makes sense for Helen to want to stay there and for Max to think he’s returning soon, how are they going to tell this story while they’re split up, physically? And what will it do to their relationship, especially if it takes a while for Veronica to be ousted?

[For more on the episode, here’s what Eggold had to say about directing and Max’s big move.]

FBI: MOST WANTED: With Julian McMahon on the verge of leaving, it feels like every Jess moment and interaction is extra weighted. I’m really glad we got some quality Jess and Hana time before his exit.
