Let’s talk about Tuesday night’s TV!

FBI: The interesting thing about Nina joining the team is that we get to see these new dynamics build at a time in the season when things are (usually) wrapping up. Now, we’re also learning so much about who she is and also how she handles at-work adversity, so a lot of things feel like a wild card. I don’t blame Tiff for being skeptical, but it was nice the duo were able to clear the air and we got some backstory on Nina in the process.

FBI: INTERNATIONAL: Okay, we know Scott has his team’s back, but him getting Jaeger her job back—since he was owed favors for solving their case—is an absolute badass move.

NEW AMSTERDAM: Max’s patient just wanted to play the piano! I know the med change didn’t actually kill him, but, man, he was so close to getting what he had hoped to achieve for so long. Sigh.

I’m glad Helen and her mom had their talk about why getting married at the castle was, uh, problematic, but also acknowledging that while it was a fantasy, it wasn’t the actual fantasy for Helen. She just wants the happily ever with the man she loves and their kid. (And I’m equally glad Max came to the same realization and he wants her to come home so they can get married ASAP.)

Uh, I don’t know how Iggy and Martin overcome Iggy saying that Martin is the problem in their relationship. To be clear, no one should be the problem in a relationship, but that feels like a pretty big bomb to throw into a dynamic.

Oh, Reynolds, I hope you aren’t about to get your heart broken…

(At least we had Lauren awkwardly fielding sexual health questions.)

FBI: MOST WANTED: I love how authentically Remy worked his own losses into the case—him losing his brother would be something that would naturally come up.

The case was absolutely messed up, though. What an awful mother to betray her daughter so thoroughly. (Not that Cassandra was excused from her actions, but good lord.)

Oh, I really hope Ortiz helping George doesn’t bite them all…he’s saying George has to tell Hana the truth, but maybe he should have made him do that before giving him the cash?
