ABBOTT ELEMENTARY to Stream on HBO Max and Hulu

There will be two streaming homes for ABBOTT ELEMENTARY—HBO Max and Hulu.

Hulu will continue to get episodes the day after its broadcast debut (and will have the rights to prior seasons as the show moves into season 2 and beyond), while HBO Max will get the entire season at once after it concludes. (Season 1 will make its HBO Max debut on August 20.)

The series was created by/stars Quinta Brunson, who plays Janine Teagues. The show also stars Tyler James Williams as Gregory Eddie, Janelle James as Ava Coleman, Lisa Ann Walter as Melissa Schemmenti, Chris Perfetti as Jacob Hill, William Stanford Davis as Mr. Johnson, and Sheryl Lee Ralph as Barbara Howard. In addition to Brunson, Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker also serve as executive producers.

ABBOTT ELEMENTARY also had a big showing with Emmy nominations, scoring seven for its freshman season, including Outstanding Comedy.
