Let’s talk about Sunday night’s TV!

CELEBRITY FAMILY FEUD: I thought a hit man was a terrible answer for what a woman would have for her cheating man…and then it was there. I know this is just a hypothetical in a game, but damn.

But, ouch, in that second game, 102 points for Team Monica in the final round? Yikes, yikes, yikes. One of the questions was awful (an animal that starts with “wood”?!?!), but I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a score so low before.

$100,000 PYRAMID: Oh my God, these games were rouuuuuuuugh. This was a mixture of normally good celebrities having off-games and also just bad mixes/pairings. I know not everyone can be a winner, literally and figuratively, but eesh.

TALES OF THE WALKING DEAD: Okay, going to be honest: Did not see a maybe-time loop coming as a possible anthology element for this show. I know they had the “grounded” possible explanation with folie à deux, but, yeah, we watched a time loop episode. I’m torn between thinking it was a brilliant idea, timing-wise, because it makes it clear anything can happen on this show, and also thinking it might have played better later in the season/series, when what this show actually is was more firmly established.

I do wish we had swapped POVs with Blair and Gina, though, even if it would have quasi-diluted the time loop effect. (And there was more than once it felt like Parker Posey was channeling her SCREAM 3 character Jennifer Jolie…which, look, never a complaint. SCREAM 3 forever.) And I’m definitely surprised we’re two episodes in without a deeply tragic/deadly end. Zero way that can last for long, though, right?

I THINK a woodchuck?! But that’s *so* much harder than what do you put in a printer, for instance. If you’re going to throw a question in where it’s only two possible answers, you’d think it should be reallllllly clear.
