AMERICA'S GOT TALENT and CLAIM TO FAME

CLAIM TO FAME – “Truth Or Dare” – Before one of the three finalists is crowned champion, a shocking twist brings familiar faces back to the house who attempt to influence the game one last time. The final challenge is the classic game of Truth or Dare, where the stakes have never been higher as the winner automatically receives a spot in the top two. Strategy and tough decisions make for the most revealing challenge yet, ultimately ending in a tie and forcing a head-to-head dare to declare the winner. Alliances continue to be tested, and more secrets than ever are shared; but in the end, only one competitor outsmarts the rest, earning their own “Claim to Fame” and taking home the $100,000 prize. The season finale of “Claim to Fame” airs on a new night, TUESDAY, SEPT. 6 (10:00-11:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC. (ABC/John Fleenor)
“L.C.”, “LOGAN”

Let’s talk about Tuesday night’s TV!

AMERICA’S GOT TALENT: Well, the producers messed up…too many good acts were here and they absolutely should have been spread out. Mervant Vera was maybe my favorite of the night, but Jordan Conley, Kristy Sellars, Urbancrew, Shu Takada, and Mayyas all are worthy, too?? Absolute mess.

CLAIM TO FAME: They brought back the former contestants! I love that it was a twist even we didn’t know about, because it could have, really, changed everything.

Logan was smart with his strategy to take dares rather than reveal too much. But, also, him naming the song Jason Aldean did a few years ago and getting NO reaction from the crowd=amazing. And everyone realizing that LC was related to a woman was hilarious. But, boy, those dares sure were something. Logan cracking 12 eggs was hilarious. (But also what if he didn’t know that fact?!) But then they got so much worse…and the girls had to do a dare-like tie-breaker.

I’m happy for LC that she was able to win it all. (I admire Brittany for trying to protect Logan, but, yeah, once it was out there Logan’s relative’s first name was Jason, it was hard to unring that bell.) And it was absolutely precious how happy she and Logan seemed to be in that final confessional. (Please release all the bloopers, ABC.)

But, seriously, what an absolutely gem of a show. I really hope they bring it back, because it was such a pleasure to watch this summer.
