CHICAGO P.D.: Benjamin Levy Aguilar Previews Torres Being Torn ‘Between Who He Was and Who He Is’ in ‘New Life’

When CHICAGO P.D.’s Torres (Benjamin Levy Aguilar) is tipped off about a murder on the Wednesday, May 17 episode of the NBC drama, “he finds himself [caught] between who he was and who he is,” Aguilar tells Give Me My Remote in the video below. “He shocks himself [while discovering] what he is capable of doing and not.”

As Torres tries to solve the case—and figure out who alerted him to the crime to begin with—he also has to juggle how to handle looping his Intelligence teammates into what’s actually going on. So how is the officer actually handling that balance?

“Not well,” Aguilar says with a laugh. “I think not well. With these kinds of moments and private moments of his life, he feels like he can’t trust anyone. And it’s not because of them…[the problem is] he can’t allow himself to open up. He feels he has to take it all on his own, and has to play it very close to the chest.”
