About Last Night…THE SIMPSONS and BOB’S BURGERS

Let’s talk about Sunday night’s TV!

THE SIMPSONS: Oh, I loved this. It took me a half-second to realize the opening credits were being done with a female focus, but I loved that extra bit of attention. And, whew, Mama slapping the Supreme Court justices felt a little bit extra sweet after this week.

But it was a fun, creative, sweet episode. I loved the little musical numbers we got, the different art styles/storytelling devices we got for a few of the segments, and getting a little glimpse into the larger Springfield world.

BOB’S BURGERS: I’ll give this to the characters: The talent show was actually better than I expected! I mean, poor Bob—he just wanted to sell food, it wasn’t good for him. But I was expecting some true horrifying acts. A fun episode.
