THE PITT: Max Sets January Premiere Date

THE PITT—the new Noah Wyle-led medical drama—will debut on Thursday, January 9, Max announced. The series will release new episodes weekly, leading to the show’s April 10 season finale.
According to the streamer, “THE PITT is a realistic examination of the challenges facing healthcare workers in today’s America as seen through the lens of the frontline heroes working in a modern-day hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Each episode follows an hour of Dr. Robby’s (Wyle) 15-hour shift as the chief attendant in Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Hospital’s emergency room.”

The series also stars Tracey Ifeachor (Dr. Collins), Patrick Marron Ball (Dr. Langdon), Supriya Ganesh (Dr. Mohan), Fiona Dourif (Dr. McKay), Taylor Dearden (Dr. King), Isa Briones (Dr. Santos), Gerran Howell (Whitaker), Shabana Azeez (Javadi), and Katherine LaNasa (Dana Evans).
THE PITT was created by R. Scott Gemmill and is executive produced by Wyle, John Wells, Erin Jontow, Simran Baidwan, and Michael Hissrich. (The show is also at the center of a ER-related lawsuit.)
