ELSBETH Exclusive Clip: Elsbeth’s Day Off Leads Her to a Cold Case in ‘Scenes from an Italian Restaurant’

“Scenes From an Italian Restaurant” – When Elsbeth takes a tour of famous New York crime scenes she is left with nagging questions about a legendary Mafia slaying in Little Italy, and about the owner of the family restaurant where it happened, Pupetta Del Ponte (Alyssa Milano). Elsbeth (Carrie Preston) tries to take some time off on the Thursday, March 6 episode of ELSBETH…but a potential case finds her, anyway.
In an exclusive clip from “Scenes from an Italian Restaurant,” Elsbeth is on a tour of New York crime scenes with her son Teddy (Ben Levi Ross), and his boyfriend, Roy (Hayward Leach), when they’re taken to a restaurant where a crime family war ended.
But after hearing the story, the facts aren’t adding up and Elsbeth has some questions about the tale being spun.
“Doesn’t this murder feel kind of impulsive to you?” she asks in the video below when tour guide Henry (Murray Hill) can’t answer a single query. “Messy? Not planned.”
But Elsbeth’s theorizing has gotten the attention of restaurant owner/former mafia family member Pupetta Del Ponte (Alyssa Milano), who comes to meet the lawyer. “Or, maybe, Eddie just wasn’t that bright,” Pupetta deadpans.
