FBI: INTERNATIONAL Exclusive Clip: Booth Reunites with the Fly Team in ‘Dead Dead’

“Dead Dead” – When a psychologist with national security intel goes missing on a hike in the Swiss Alps, the Fly Team works alongside a friendly face, Agent Tyler Booth (guest star Jay Hayden), to find him. The Fly Team teams up with an old friend to work a case on the Tuesday, April 8 episode of FBI: INTERNATIONAL: Booth (Jay Hayden).

“Look who it is,” Booth says in the exclusive video below from “Dead Dead” as he greets Wes (Jesse Lee Soffer) and the members of the Fly Team with hugs.

Booth shares an especially warm reunion with Smitty (Eva-Jane Willis), whom he officially befriended in his last episode. (In “Keep Calm and Deliver the Biotoxin,” Smitty didn’t feel comfortable lying on behalf of Booth for the agent to get a promotion, so she was going to leave the Fly Team to avoid being put in that position. Booth declined the promotion so she would stay with the team—and Smitty arranged it so Booth could reunite with his daughter when he got home.)

“Are you staying out of trouble?” Smitty asks with a grin before the duo embrace.

“Only for you,” Booth replies.

But, of course, the team is actually there for business. When Wes jokes Booth is working with “space aliens”—since Booth is working with the extraterritorial squad, naturally—Booth fires back with, “Territories outside the U.S., smartass. You know that.”

Their task is to find David Steiner, who has been on assignment for twelve months, before going missing during a joint family vacation on a hike in the Swiss Alps.

“They’re asking us to keep David’s official position quiet,” Booth says. “If he is found, we don’t want him falling into the wrong hands.”

Things are complicated by how little they can do to raise the alarm Steiner is missing at all, so Wes doles out assignments to get more information.

When they’re alone, Booth tells Wes that Steiner was working on something “high-level,” but he doesn’t know the exact details. But the silence says enough.

“This guy’s got a lot of people nervous,” Booth says. That means the task is to find Steiner no matter what—”even if all we find is a body.”
