ROYAL PAINS: NBC Developing Mark Feuerstein-Led Revival Series

ROYAL PAINS may be the latest USA Network series to get a second life: NBC is developing a revival to the Mark Feuerstein-led series, Give Me My Remote has confirmed.

In the potential series, “Over a decade ago, Hank Lawson left a hospital to start a concierge practice in the Hamptons. Now, several years later and searching for a new purpose in life, Hank is about to embark on his biggest project yet.”

Feuerstein, who played Hank for eight seasons, is the only star from the original series currently attached to the potential series. (He also would serve as an executive producer.) The new series comes from ROYAL PAINS executive producers Andrew Lenchewski and Michael Rauch; Rich Frank would also serve as an executive producer.

ROYAL PAINS ran from 2009-2016. The original cast also included Paulo Costanzo, Reshma Shetty, Brooke D’Orsay, Ben Shenkman, Jill Flint, and Campbell Scott.

Notably, NBC currently is airing another universe expansion of a USA Network series: SUITS LA, a sequel (of sorts) to SUITS.

Deadline was first to report the series’ potential revival.
