AMERICAN IDOL: Jennifer Holliday, Goo Goo Dolls, Patti LaBelle, Salt-N-Pepa, and More to Perform on the Season Finale

AMERICAN IDOL has revealed the artists coming to perform along the contestants on the Sunday, May 18 season finale.

• Goo Goo Dolls
• Good Charlotte
• Jennifer Holliday
• Jessica Simpson
• Josh Groban
• Kirk Franklin
• Myles Smith
• Patti LaBelle
• Salt-N-Pepa

Additionally, judges Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood, and Lionel Richie will perform together. Season-long Artist in Residence Jelly Roll will also perform. (He’s also serving as the season finale mentor.)

Here’s ABC’s official logline for the three-hour episode, which airs live coast-to-coast at 8/7c (5 PM PT): “It’s the grand finale! The Top 3 give their final performances in a star-studded night with music legends and top stars. Then, this year’s “American Idol” winner is revealed live.”
