AMERICAN IDOL has crowned a new winner!

With the season 23 contestants down to just John Foster, Jamal Roberts, and Breanna Nix, host Ryan Seacrest first revealed who came in third: Nix.

Then, Foster and Roberts performed their original songs. (And the finalists performed with a gaggle of famous duet partners.)

Finally, it was time for the winner to be announced: Seacrest revealed that Roberts won AMERICAN IDOL season 23. Watch the big moment now…
