The FBI team survived multiple ambushes in the Tuesday, May 20 season finale, but not everyone made it out of the hour okay.

Initially, Jubal (Jeremy Sisto) went to meet with an informant who insisted an attack—known as “A New Day”—was being planned on 26 Fed. But the man, who worked with the defense department, wanted guaranteed safety before he divulged more.

But there was no time: They were attacked, and a wounded Jubal left, aware he couldn’t trust anyone until he found out more details.

When he made his way back to the office, things got even more dangerous—there was an explosion, leaving Isobel (Alana De La Garza) presumed dead from an explosion. With the threat escalating, everyone was stripped of their badges and guns.

A still-alive Isobel refused to get medical attention and secretly worked with Jubal and the team to entrap the real traitors within the FBI. But even after successfully removing them from power, it wasn’t exactly a win.

As Isobel championed the team’s success, she also acknowledged, “We also learned there are greater dangers lurking in the shadows.”

“I know that scares me,” she said while addressing the JOC. “But we have a choice to make: Do we run toward the danger or away from it. For me, that choice is easy because I believe in all of you. The FBI. Our FBI. The ones that work tirelessly to protect the innocent lives everyday.”

As she seemed to stumble over her words, Maggie (Missy Peregrym) and OA (Zeeko Zaki) observed their boss with concern.

“To protect the innocent,” Isobel tried again, while clearly struggling.Jubal inched closer, visibly worried—with reason, as Isobel promptly collapsed.

“She doesn’t have a pulse,” Maggie said.

“Get EMT in here right now,” Jubal ordered, while frantically calling Isobel’s name. But the screen cut to black before Isobel’s fate was revealed.

Do you think Isobel will be okay?
