Let’s talk about Wednesday night’s TV!

MASTERCHEF: DYNAMIC DUOS: Okay, it’s absolutely wild (and awesome!) to have a pair of MASTERCHEF JUNIOR season 3 contestants back. I love when contestants stay friends after filming ends, and it’s extra precious it happened for these then-kids. And I’m glad they made it through.

I don’t often talk about the promos, but I will say, vaguely, the teaser for the next episode made me feel like we might have quasi-wasted our time with these first two episodes? I guess there could be more going on (or an important twist/clarification), but…

CELEBRITY WHEEL OF FORTUNE: The “This Looks So Easy On TV” puzzle made me laugh out loud given the trouble it gave them. But a fun game. Jessica Capshaw was great, though I felt terrible for her with both of the final puzzles; I got the first one, I didn’t get the second one. (I knew it couldn’t be “home,” but my brain kept trying to autofill it to that. I didn’t even think of “cake.”)

GORDON RAMSAY’S SECRET SERVICE: Well, Patrick was…a lot. Don’t love anyone being okay with AI running their restaurant, but he was also so rude to Gordon and pretty horrific to his wife.

There seemed to be change by the end! Will it last? Did he actually learn any lessons? I don’t know. I truly hope so.
