Let’s talk about Wednesday night’s TV!

MASTERCHEF: DYNAMIC DUOS: Okay, I’m glad the ones who got through initially were safe this week; getting through that first round should mean something. I’m glad we got some more people in the mix, and I’m intrigued to see the actual competition next week.

GORDON RAMSAY’S SECRET SERVICE: This episode felt less hostile than the others, which was at least good. Yeah, the owner was prickly, but he also respected Gordon and opened up to him about the problems really fast. It was also one of the revamps to the restaurant itself that felt like a love letter to its owners versus just “nicer.”

(And I love that Gordon called his mom at the end.)

LOVE ISLAND USA: Huda and Jeremiah have known each other for like 85 seconds, so this crash out when one of them is actually, seriously, tempted by another person is going to be bad.

On the flip side, every guy but Jeremiah wanted to couple up with Cierra? Uh, okay. Not surprised she picked Nic, though. Good luck to the other men, though.

I get it breaks the fourth wall, but Yulissa’s exit was so blink-and-you-miss-it, I wish there had been more. Not showing her leave, but the aftermath had to be bonkers? The Islanders only have each other, they would have been saying so much about the situation. (And do they know the full story? We may not know for weeks.)
