BOSTON BLUE: Gloria Reuben Joins the CBS Drama as a Series Regular

Gloria Reuben has joined the cast of the upcoming CBS drama BOSTON BLUE, Give Me My Remote has confirmed.

Reuben will play, Mae is the District Attorney of Boston. According to the official description, “the widow of a judge who was murdered on the courthouse steps, Mae is the matriarch of a blended family of law enforcement professionals: her daughter Lena (Sonequa Martin-Green) is a Boston Police Department Detective, and her stepdaughter Sarah (Maggie Lawson) is the Police Superintendent. Her son Jonah is a rookie cop. Mae is accustomed to making decisions and standing by them.”

BOSTON BLUE is a universe expansion of the long-running CBS series BLUE BLOODS. In the drama, which will air Fridays at 10/9c this fall, Donnie Wahlberg reprises his role as NYPD officer Danny Reagan when “Reagan takes a position with Boston PD. Once in Boston, he is paired with detective Lena Peters, the eldest daughter of a prominent law enforcement family.” The series also stars Ernie Hudson, who portrays Mae’s father.

Reuben’s TV resume includes ER, THE BETTER SISTER, ELSBETH, THE EQUALIZER, MR. ROBOT, and CITY ON A HILL.
