PROJECT RUNWAY All Star Challenge Reveals Contestants

You know I love me some All Star seasons of reality shows. So imagine my joy when I got word that PROJECT RUNWAY would send some of my favorite designers of past years down the catwalk once again in a brand new All Star Challenge. Sadly it seems we won’t have an All Star season as much as a two-hour All Star special, but I’ll take what I can get.
Tim Gunn will once again make these designers work and try his best to keep them away from Heidi Klum and her auf Weidersehn. Michael Kors and Nina Garcia might be a bit tougher this time around since these designers are no longer amateurs.
The winner will walk away with $100,000. Not too shabby.
The designers competing in Project Runway: All-Star Challenge are as follows:
- Daniel Vosovic, Season 2
- Santino Rice, Season 2
- Jeffrey Sebelia, Season 3
- Uli Herzner, Season 3
- Mychael Knight, Season 3
- Chris March, Season 4\
- Sweet P, Season 4
- Korto Momolu, Season 5
Of course I’m disappointed not to see Christian Soriano on the list, but I’m sure he’s got enough keeping him busy these days. But selfishly I would have loved to see his ego go up against Santino’s. (Sadly Andre won’t be part of this season…maybe he’s at the Red Lobster).
This special All Star 2-hour episode will air on Lifetime at 8pm on Thursday, August 20th, right before the premiere of Season 6 of PROJECT RUNWAY.

YES! YES! YES!! I love it! They really got some good people for is! I have been going through Santino with-draws ever since his season ended and now he’s back! Why O Why couldn’t this have been a mini season?!?!

Very, very nice. I like all of those. Plus, it will be interesting to see Santino and Jeffrey in the same space. I felt that those two shared similar vibes. However, I would have loved for them to get some contestants who seemed to have left too quickly during their seasons. Alison from S3 and Kevin from S4 are ones that comes to mind, plus heck, bring Jack back. 🙂 But I’m happy that they didn’t put anyone into there for drama’s sake like Elisa or Angela.
Korto wins my prize for making gorgeous clothes I could wear (aka a real woman), love her. And, Chris March is my perennial favorite. Thanks for the heads’ up!
