After years of messy entanglement, CHICAGO P.D.’s Burgess (Marina Squerciati) and Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger) are—thankfully—entering 2023 in a relatively good place.

“I mean, of course, they’re still complicated—they’re them…They have this interesting relationship that no one else would probably be able to make work, but they do and it works for them,” CHICAGO P.D. showrunner Gwen Sigan tells Give Me My Remote in the video below. “They’ve been co-parenting very well.”
