THE FLASH, LUCIFER, LEGENDS OF TOMORROW, DOOM PATROL and More Announced For Warner Bros.’ Inaugural DC FanDome

Conventions may not be happening in the traditional sense, but DC fans will have one heck of an opportunity to immerse themselves in the comic world this August.

On Saturday, August 22 (starting at 10 AM PDT), Warner Bros. will host a 24-hour global virtual event, DC FanDome, honoring the genre—which will feature news about upcoming comics, movies, shows, and games—at DCFanDome.com.

DOOM PATROL: HBO Max Releases Season 2 Trailer

With DOOM PATROL season 2 debuting in just over 2 weeks, HBO Max released the official trailer for what’s ahead.

In the sophomore year, “DC’s strangest group of heroes — Cliff Steele aka Robotman (Brendan Fraser), Larry Trainor aka Negative Man (Matt Bomer), Rita Farr aka Elasti-Woman (April Bowlby), Jane aka Crazy Jane (Diane Guerrero), and Victor Stone aka Cyborg (Joivan Wade) — are back again to save the world. That is, if they can find a way to grow up…both figuratively and literally. Following the defeat of Mr. Nobody, the members of the Doom Patrol now find themselves mini-sized and stranded on Cliff’s toy race car track. Here they begin to deal with their feelings of betrayal by Niles Caulder aka The Chief (Timothy Dalton), while confronting their own personal baggage. And as each member faces the challenge of growing beyond their own past traumatic experiences, they must come together to embrace and protect the newest member of the family: Dorothy Spinner (Abigail Shapiro), Niles’ daughter, whose powers remain a mysterious but real threat to bringing on the end of the world.”

HBO Max Sets DOOM PATROL, SEARCH PARTY Premieres, Other Summer Launches

HBO Max has set its next round of original releases, including DOOM PATROL season 2, SEARCH PARTY season 3, and an ADVENTURE TIME revival.
