john-noble-science-thumbFOREVER has booked former FRINGE/SLEEPY HOLLOW star John Noble for a guest spot, EW.com is reporting. (Noble isn’t the first FRINGE star to appear on the ABC freshman drama: his former costar, Blair Brown, appeared on the December 2nd hour.)

Per EW, Noble will play Aubrey Griffin, “the world’s foremost expert of antiquities and adventure.” He gets brought into the mix of things when a museum curator is found dead…and she has a Roman dagger with her.

Noble will appear in the first season finale of the ABC series.

FOREVER is back on Tuesday, February 3rd after a few weeks of reruns, and big things are in store for Abe.

“The episode deals with Nazi art heist,” FOREVER creator Matt Miller shared. “And what that does is brings back into play some old feelings for Abe, because Abe was a child of the Holocaust, and he learns some things he didn’t know. And Adam, the anonymous caller, makes that connection for him.”

Which means, yes, Abe and Adam will have some meaningful (and face-to-face) interaction. “It’s a really cool episode,” Miller teases.

The Anonymous Caller/Adam pops back up in the February 3rd episode of FOREVER, and this time he’ll be around while Abe’s history is explored.

[It’s] a Nazi art heist episode,” FOREVER creator Matt Miller shared late last year. “That one will feature the anonymous caller, but because Abe was a survivor of the Holocaust, it brings up some old wounds for him. And maybe he starts to learn some things throughout the course of the episode about his family.”

Check out some photos from “Hilter on the Half-Shell”…

FOREVER - "Hitler on the Half-Shell" - Is Karl Haas a hero or a traitor and thief? When he ends up in the morgue, it starts an explosive chain of events with Henry and Jo racing to track -- not just a murderer -- but to solve a decades old notorious art crime. Karl's son, Erik, who is an art dealer, inherited from his father priceless works of art stolen by the Nazi's during World War II. Meanwhile, Adam pays an unsuspecting Abe a furtive visit, and Henry's paternal instincts force a face-off with his nemesis. Flashbacks take Henry to 1814 where he is shocked to learn that his own father's shipping company was involved in illegal and immoral practices. Finally, Abe receives a priceless gift, on "Forever," TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 3 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network. FOREVER: Matt Miller Teases Henry Meeting ‘Adam’

The last episode of FOREVER left off on a sizable cliffhanger — Henry was kidnapped by the anonymous caller, “Adam” — and in this week’s midseason finale, the action picks up right where the show left viewers.

“This is a very big midseason finale episode for us,” FOREVER creator Matt Miller teased. “It’s our biggest mythology episode so far, in that Henry will in this episode meet the anonymous caller — the man that has been stalking him since the pilot, the person that claims to share his immortal affliction. At the end of [the last episode], he is kidnapped in a taxi…and this episode picks up with Henry in that taxi, with the anonymous caller, but he can’t quite see him because it’s dark out, and he can’t see him through the rear view mirror.”

And Adam isn’t just going through these motions to make Henry’s life more difficult — he has a very calculated reason for taking Henry by force.

FOREVER just nabbed a full season pickup, and after a week off due to election coverage, the drama is back with a brand new episode…and Henry and Jo find themselves crossing paths with a “domination therapist.”

Hilarie Burton (who starred on ONE TREE HILL before landing arcs on WHITE COLLAR, GREY’S ANATOMY, HOSTAGES, and more) is guest-starring in the hour as Iona Payne, the dominatrix in question, and we spoke her getting “dared” to take on the role, the layers the writers gave her character, the song she used to get into the mindset to film the spot, and which FOREVER guest star she regrets not crossing paths with…

FOREVER’s Henry Morgan is just getting back into the groove of fully living his life, now that he’s teamed up with Detective Jo Martinez to solve crimes. Of course, there is a bigger mystery brewing in the background (and that gets touched on in tonight’s episode), but while Henry might not be able to figure out exactly what’s happening to him immediately, he is able to figure out why/how other people died in the meantime.

At New York Comic Con, FOREVER star Ioan Gruffudd (Henry) spoke with reporters about how much he knows about what’s going on with Henry, and how working with Jo has changed him…

There are a ton, ton, ton of new shows launching this season, and it’s going to get difficult to keep track of them all.

To help you out, for every new show, I’m going to basically create a hub of info on the day of the premiere — pilot photos, what’s been written about it so far, and when you can watch it.

Next up, FOREVER…

FOREVER: Matt Miller on the Procedural’s Tone, Character Dynamics, and More

There aren’t a whole lot of crime procedurals on tap this season, but one of the ones I enjoyed the most was ABC’s FOREVER. (Which you may have seen since ABC put it online early.)

Ioan Gruffudd is effortless as Henry Morgan, a medical examiner who is fascinated with death for a good reason…he can’t die. The show is breezy, fun, and in the couple of episodes I’ve seen, it has been a fun mix of “case of the week” and dealing with the on-going mythology.

I sat down with FOREVER creator Matt Miller (who has previously worked on CHUCK, HUMAN TARGET, and 666 PARK AVENUE, to name a few) to talk about the tone of the series, the cases that are ahead, Henry’s relationships, and more… (And, warning, there are a few minor pilot spoilers in here.)
