Showtime has ordered a television adaptation of the HALO video game to series. AWAKE creator Kyle Killen is on tap to showrun/executive produce the show, which has an order for a 10-episode first season. Rupert Wyatt will direct multiple episodes/executive produce the drama.
“HALO is our most ambitious series ever, and we expect audiences who have been anticipating it for years to be thoroughly rewarded,” said David Nevins, President and CEO, Showtime Networks Inc, in a statement. “In the history of television, there simply has never been enough great science fiction.
