NBC has halted production on freshman comedy SEAN SAVES THE WORLD, a rep for the show has confirmed.

Back in November, NBC ordered five additional installments (on top of the original 13-episode order), bringing the episode total up to 18. Now, the series will be done after the 14 episodes that have been completed. (12 episodes have aired. The two unaired episodes don’t have an airdate as of yet.)

SEAN SAVES THE WORLD follows a divorced father, Sean, who has to figure out how to balance his work life with his home life when his teenage daughter moves in with him full-time. (The series also stars Thomas Lennon, Megan Hilty, and Echo Kellum.)

Aside from QAF, Gant has appeared recently on BABY DADDY, ANGER MANAGEMENT, and will appear in an upcoming episode of THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS.

SEAN SAVES THE WORLD premieres Thursday, October 3rd at 9 PM on NBC.
