The Blacklist | 10pm on NBC

When Red (James Spader) tips Liz (Megan Boone) off on the disappearance of Justin Kenyon (Stephen Bogardus), a polygamous cult leader with dangerous shipping containers buried on his property, the task force sets out to investigate. Meanwhile Red utilizes his sources to appease Fitch’s last words and travels to track down his hidden safe.

THE BLACKLIST: John Eisendrath on Season 2’s Scheduling

THE BLACKLIST was one of the biggest breakout hits of the 2013-2014 seasons, and when it’ll face a several month break (the series will go on hiatus starting in November), and then return to one of the biggest audiences a television show can get: the post-Super Bowl slot.

GMMR TV Awards: Favorite New Drama Series – Vote Now!

NBC Announces 2014-2015 Schedule

Wow, NBC is shaking everything up.

The network has released its schedule, and PARKS AND REC (which will have its final season next year) is midseason TBD, THE BLACKLIST (this year’s big breakout hit) will be moving all over the schedule (and getting the post-Super Bowl spot), and the Thursday comedy block is gone. (And PARENTHOOD has officially been renewed for a final season, but that’s a little less shocking.)

NBC Renews THE BLACKLIST for Season 2

Just one day after THE BLACKLIST aired its fall finale (the show returns with new episodes in January), NBC has ordered season 2.

THE BLACKLIST becomes the second new series to receive an order for next season, after the early renewal for SLEEPY HOLLOW. (SH, however, will only have 13 episodes this year, whereas THE BLACKLIST will have a full season.)

NBC Orders a Full Season of THE BLACKLIST

NBC has given its first back-nine order to its freshman series, THE BLACKLIST.

“The many layers of Red Reddington and his mysterious reasons for getting into bed with the FBI seem to be fascinating to fans of this show,” said Jennifer Salke, President, NBC Entertainment in a statement. “With great talent like James Spader and Megan Boone on board, as well our stellar executive producers and the whole cast and crew, we believe this outstanding series will continue to make NBC a big destination on Monday nights.”
