The CW Sets 2018-2019 Schedule

The CW has set its 2018-2019 lineup.

With the network now programming originals on Sunday, the fall lineup will boast five DC series, plus the reboot of CHARMED and THE VAMPIRE DIARIES/ORIGINALS spinoff, LEGACIES.

The CW Sets Season Finale Dates for SUPERNATURAL, THE FLASH, RIVERDALE, and More

The CW has set finale dates for a number of its shows.

DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW will wrap up its season on Monday, April  9 at 8/7c. (SUPERGIRL will continue its season there when LEGENDS concludes.) Meanwhile, IZOMBIE’s fourth season will end on Monday, May 28 at 9/8c.

BLACK LIGHTNING’s inaugural season ends on Tuesday, April 17 at 9/8c; THE FLASH’s year concludes on Tuesday, May 22 at 8/7c.

The CW Orders LEGENDS OF TOMORROW, CORDON, and CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND to Series

The CW has officially picked up its ARROW/FLASH spinoff (now titled LEGENDS OF TOMORROW), Julie Plec’s CORDON (about a viral outbreak that requires a cordon around the infected area), and CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND, which was conceived as a  30-minute Showtime series before the cable channel passed on it.

The LEGENDS OF TOMORROW — which features key villains and heroes from the established DC TV universe — logline sounds particularly promising: “”When heroes alone are not enough … the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and  villains to confront an unstoppable threat — one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?”

The CW Bumps Up HART OF DIXIE’s Premiere Date

HART OF DIXIE’s premiere will now launch a bit earlier than planned: The CW announced that the Rachel Bilson-led series will now air its season premiere on Monday, December 15th at 8 PM. (The show will air on Fridays starting in 2015.)
