Oh happy day!! NBC just released the following promo pics for the first episode of Season 4 of THE OFFICE. The jolt of adrenaline I got just from looking at the pics is crazy. In case you were wondering, yes I think I will make some time to cover THE OFFICE on Give Me My Remote this season. The fourth season of THE OFFICE returns to NBC on September 27th at 9/8c with an hour long episode entitled “Fun Run”.

Where to begin?
- First off, I should be the responsible blogger and tell you that although these are promo shots taken during the first episode of Season 4, please keep in mind they might not all be from actual filming.
- The shot of Jim and Pam walking made my heart soar!! I’m sure they were just discussing that they were glad they went on one date before they realized that they weren’t meant to be. They were hoping to get their walk over with so Jim could pick up Karen and they can get ready before their double date with Pam and Roy. (Reverse psychology is an awesome tool. I don’t know if you guys know about it, but basically you make someone think the opposite of what you believe and that tricks them into doing something stupid. Works like a charm.)
- Call me crazy but I think we have Season 2 Jim back in a big way. No more wig (thank god), the cheeks, a smile on his face. Don’t get me started.
- I was alarmed when I first head of the ‘Fun Run’ being for the Meredith Palmer Memorial Fund, but I have it on good authority that Meredith is alive and kicking (although perhaps not running) and she nor Kate Flannery are in any danger of leaving Dunder Mifflin.
- Dwangela – nuff said.
- The 2007-08 TV season is going to be about finding Toby a woman!! Aren’t there any nice girls in Scranton that are single and worthy of Mr. Flenderson?
Ok, enough from me…let’s discuss and speculate on this joyous day.

Oh my gosh, are Andy’s nipples bleeding?! That is hysterical…and also reminds me of How I Met Your Mother, which makes me laugh too.
As soon as I saw the pics on Office Tally, my mind was racing. I decided to check out GMMR to see what you had to say. As always, you’ve put it into perspective, Cath. Nicely said.
PS – My heart was soaring at the sight of Jim and Pam, too!

I’ll be honest, I was getting a little worried about the show halfway through last season, but I think this season is going to be incredible. i just feel it.

I had hoped that maybe these were pictures you took on another set visit. I hope Greg Daniels and everyone allows you and Tanster to go back and visit again this season. The way you wrote about the day made me feel like I was there. I’m going to go read about your set visit again. Those pics have me geared up for the new season.

The JAM picture? Now my new wallpaper on my computer. Can’t wait for Sept 4th – which will help tide me over until Sept 27th. I can’t wait!! (And no Rashida pics?! – I know, I know, she’s coming back…but….yipee!)
I love these pictures! I laughed so hard when I saw the nipple bleeding! I love me some JAM and Jim in general. And GMMR, you had me fooled when I started reading your second bullet, I was like “Is this girl high?” Then I finished reading it. Hah, you got me!

I had the same reaction about Meredith when I saw the “Memorial” on the shirts. Maybe she gets bitten by something with rabies (surely not the bat) and has to have treatment. How funny, crazy, typical-Michael-Scott it is to have such a huge name for the event! I love that it takes up nearly the whole shoulder area of the shirts!

Jim from season 2 and JAM together??!! I’m not sure how I’m going to last until September 27th. GMMR, I completely agree about Toby getting a girl–give Toby some love!

Jim and Pam!!! YAY!!! But in all honesty…I would love for the heat to be turned down on JAM and turned up on DWANGELA! The dwangela pic rocks! I cant wait to see where that relationship is headed.
Also…What happened to the girl Toby took to Phyllis’s wedding?
As if I wasn’t already anxiously awaiting the premiere these pictures are definitely increasing my anticipation! I love the JAM picture of course and am so curious to find out what’s going on with Dwangela in this episode! And poor Andy! (Yet that is so hilarious – I’m so glad Ed is going to a full-time cast member this season.) I love Kevin doing the run in his dress shirt and tie! As always, it looks like this is going to be a fun episode…. is it September 27 yet?
i think what everyone is wearing cracks me up the most…it epitomizes the characters so well! Oh how I have missed these guys! Can’t wait…gotta start planning my S4 premiere party…

How funny is it that they’re running for “Rabies Awareness” – per the little white runners number on their chests. I can see this as being one of Michaels wacky ideas a la the Aid to Afganistan!
does anyone else feel nervous about the fact that jim and pam aren’t holding hands or looking lovey dovey? hopefully they’re just deep in thought, plotting a prank.

Yay, I’m so glad I’m not the only one who loves Toby! He’s such a doll. I was just re-watching the one where he spends the whole evening trying to get Pam that duck in the toy machine… he’s adorable.

So did JKras have to wear wigs because he cut his hair for Leatherheads? I figured that might have been what was going on with the hat action during Beach Games and then the short hair for the Job. For what other episodes was he sporting the fake hair?
