God how I miss this show. Tear!

I guess my favorite VM moment, Damn there are so many!, would have to be when Daddy Mars and Veronica opened up the DNA tests and found out that he was indeed her father. I cried like a baby in that scene. It was just so powerful, beautiful, and raw. I realized in that moment how vulnerable Veronica actually was. LOVED IT!

I mean, yeah, every LoVe scene is memorable, especially the motel kiss, but there is something about the bond between Keith and Veronica that was so truly amazing. And that, my friends, is what I’ll miss most about the show.

  3. Jo on October 11th, 2007 4:41 pm

There are so many awesome quotes, surprises, shocks and heartwrenching moments….but I gotta pick a classic LoVe moment…S1 with the spinning and the kissing in the bathroom.

  4. Vanessa on October 11th, 2007 4:55 pm

Oh how we miss her…I loved the 80s prom! Seeing Logan with his “Risky Business” and how much Veronica obviously cared about him was awesome. Who doesn’t love the 80s get ups as well. I also loved Leo!!!

  5. brooke on October 11th, 2007 4:56 pm

the last episode was my favourite, working with mac to get duncans dad classic, brought back a lot from the first season

  6. Michael on October 11th, 2007 4:57 pm

My fave moment is the awkward elevator ride before alterna-prom. Classic… god i miss this show.

  7. kilwiggle7 on October 11th, 2007 5:01 pm

I loved the season finale from season 1 where they solved the mystery of who killed Lily, Keith to save the day, and the “who’s behind the door” cliffhanger… I miss this show so stinking bad- nothing compares to it this year 🙁

  8. Emily on October 11th, 2007 5:03 pm

They’re all too good! Logan’s “epic” speech to Veronica at alterna-prom, when Veronica gets Weevil to pick her up from Logan’s in A Trip to the Dentist, and Veronica and Wallace on the last day of schoo, just to name a few.

  9. Kris on October 11th, 2007 5:03 pm

I loved everything about veronica mars. My favorite moment was at the poker game when they were at the party and he said “where’s weevil”. That just cracked me up!

  10. Starsky on October 11th, 2007 5:10 pm

Keith singing “I finally got the police report on the dean’s su-iiii-ciiidee!”. Nothing beats that.

  11. Liz on October 11th, 2007 5:11 pm

Though I object at having to pick a singular awesome moment to symbolize all my love for Veronica Mars, I will do my best. I definitely can’t pick a favorite because there are too many, but the moment that cemented Veronica as my #1 fictional hero of all time is when she fights off Weevil’s gang in the pilot with her taser and Backup. Second place for pure squee value — Veronica and Logan’s first kiss.

  12. Carrie on October 11th, 2007 5:12 pm

Of course I loved when LoVe was together, but I think my favorite moments happened when they weren’t. I miss LoVe and their snarkiness….

Veronica: Slushies! Get your ice-cold, frozen… sugar water…
Logan: You had me at “ice cold.”
    Veronica: What’s your poison?
Logan: Oh, emotionally unavailable women. [looks at choices] Let’s see, uh… I want something that suits my mood.
Veronica: Ooh, I’m sorry, we’re all out of liquid evil.

  13. uggy on October 11th, 2007 5:16 pm

I adored Veronica Mars. Too bad this show did not stick around! I think one of the funniest moments was when ‘super slueth’ Veronica believing she had outwitted her father, figured out his safe combo and opened it only to have a dye pack explode in her face.

  14. Frank on October 11th, 2007 5:27 pm

One of my favorite LoVe exchanges:

Veronica: Slushies! Get your ice-cold, frozen… sugar water…
Logan: You had me at “ice cold.”
    Veronica: What’s your poison?
Logan: Oh, emotionally unavailable women. [looks at choices] Let’s see, uh… I want something that suits my mood.
Veronica: Ooh, I’m sorry, we’re all out of liquid evil.

  15. Kim on October 11th, 2007 5:31 pm

Favorite? Thats really hard, I completely adored Veronica Mars! I think just about every moment of the pilot episode since that is when I became hooked. Veronica cutting down Wallace, the introduction to the mysterious Lily Kane murder, and the beginning of awesome Keith-Veronica father/daughter relationship.

  16. Andrew on October 11th, 2007 5:33 pm

From Betty and Veronica, the moment Wallace realizes that Veronica’s responsible for the snickerdoodle-filled spirit boxes. Veronica knows she’s been caught and then the softness with which she said “You don’t” after Wallace said that she thinks it’s all stupid… I miss the Wallace/Veronica friendship more than anything else.

  17. Natasha on October 11th, 2007 5:39 pm

LoVe’s first kiss. That was the peak, I think, of their sexual tension–developing a begrudging respect for each other and definitely attraction to each other, but not sure what to do with those feelings of hate they’d harbored for so long.

  18. Mandy on October 11th, 2007 5:40 pm

Well, based sheerly on the number of times I watched this scene over and over, it would have to be the Veronica/Logan kiss at the motel!

  19. Erin on October 11th, 2007 5:41 pm

So many good choices. I think for a funny one the scene just preceding the spinning/kissing in the bathroom in season 1 is great, Veronica is handily fixing her car with the knife she stole from Logan, Dick and Beaver are being total jackasses and Logan is watching it all with this great look on his face as Veronica totally outwits them. Classic snark and cute secret looks of longing. Sigh….I want my season 1 VM back!

  20. Becky on October 11th, 2007 5:42 pm

I immediately thought of the first Logan & Veronica kiss outside of the hotel. The song, the way the camera circled around. *Swoon*

Also, I would have to say where Logan’s dad throws that party and everyone sees that veronica and Logan are together and he tells them if they don’t like it they can hit the rectangular shaped area with the knob on it. (Or something like that) I thought – wow.

And then I would have to agree about the pilot episode. The awesomeness of that. And the end where Weevil is hitting on Logan and he still won’t say he’s sorry, and then Veronica still won’t give the tape back but you know, Veronica Mars….she’s a marshmallow.

And now I’m thinking that when i go on maternity leave next year, the new baby and I will be having a Veronica Mars marathon. 😉

  21. JasonQG on October 11th, 2007 5:45 pm

My favorite moment was from the first season when Veronica got the results of the paternity test she secretly had done. After obsessing over finding the truth, she decided it didn’t really matter if Keith was her biological father or not and shredded the results, late at night using the paper shredder in Keith’s bedroom. Waking him up, he asks if it’s really necessary to do that now. “Yeah. As a matter of fact, it is.”

Of course, we later find out that he really is her dad, which makes it even sweeter.

  22. Terri on October 11th, 2007 5:46 pm

The moment at which my two favorite shows came together! Veronica and Wallace in the dining hall, Wallace talking about Logan, and Veronica gives him a great look: “I’m just trying to figure out which Gilmore Girl you are.”

  23. Sara on October 11th, 2007 5:48 pm

So many moments to choose from. Obviously Logan and Veronica’s first kiss on the balcony is amazing. One of my favorite moments is the dream sequence from the S1 finale when Veronica and Lily are floating on rafts and Veronica says she will never forget her.

  24. Amanda on October 11th, 2007 5:50 pm

This is a tough one…The first season alone presents way to many to chose from.

I would have to say that the first moment I knew this show was love was when Keith comes home in the pilot and announces “Tonight, we live like the lower middle-class to which we aspire!” then does the most amazing little dance of the screen. It just perfectly summed up who he was, who he was to Veronica, and how adorable and sweet the show could be in the midst of all the craziness.

Some other top contenders include ALL of “A Trip to the Dentist,” “Annoy tiny blonde one, annoy like the wind!”, the big Veronica/Logan season 1 kiss, Wallce learning Veronica was making him his spirit boxes, and of course, Lamb admitting “Veronica Mars is smarter than me.”

There are SO many more, but I’m sure everyone else will cover them.

  25. rose on October 11th, 2007 5:56 pm

“the sheriff is an idiot, i’ve met smarter sandwiches”

  26. Kristi on October 11th, 2007 6:04 pm

Oh man, do I miss Veronica 🙁 I was a big LoVe shipper so my favorite moment is both easy and hard to choose but I’m going to have to go with the “Epic” speech. That was such a phenomenal moment in the show with “I hear the Bells” playing in the background; Ah! I miss that LoVe feeling so much!

  27. Steve on October 11th, 2007 6:04 pm

For me, it’s gotta be the first season finale with Wallace.

“My ‘blonde pulling me into the girls washroom’ fantasy? Ruined.”

    Hahaha.

  28. Heber on October 11th, 2007 6:17 pm

Ahhhh! So difficult to pick! I’m gonna say Logan and Veronica at alterna-prom. That’s my decision. Ahhhh LoVe!!

  29. Heber on October 11th, 2007 6:19 pm

So difficult! I think that Logan and Veronica and alterna-prom. Just so great! Ahhhhh LoVe!

    Thanks a bunch.

  30. Diana on October 11th, 2007 6:24 pm

Obviously no way to narrow it down to just one, but a moment that jumps to mind is the entire scene where Logan ultimately asks Veronica to AlteraProm….
“you have that ‘i’d rather be making out with a broken bottle’ look”
“this? this is my “I’d rather be spelunking” look. it’s like you don’t know me at all.”
“well, there was this one girl. she was blond. petite. smelled of marshmallows and promises”
snappy dialogue, sweet moments, what’s not to love? god i miss that show.

  31. Allie on October 11th, 2007 6:25 pm

best moment….first season finale. wheeling keith to the ambulance, “who’s your daddy”

love the mars clan (except drunk mom)

  32. Steve on October 11th, 2007 6:35 pm

My favorite would have to be the moment that got me hooked on the show. In the episode where Veronica and Duncan are investigating child abuse, the closing scene with Lamb letting them go and the father staring out the kitchen window to see the police cruiser sitting outside, was really chilling. At that point, I realized I had to catch up on all the old episodes.

  33. caroline on October 11th, 2007 6:38 pm

My favorite moment has to be at the alterna-prom in season 2. That was all, just perfect.

  34. Emily on October 11th, 2007 6:42 pm

Definitely Logan and Veronica’s first kiss outside the motel. I could watch that episode over and over…and not just to see JTT all grown up! 🙂

  35. katayla on October 11th, 2007 6:46 pm

Logan & Veronica’s first kiss. Such amazing passion and chemistry. I watched it over and over . . .

  36. Melissa on October 11th, 2007 6:46 pm

Is it completely pathetic that I feel like I want to cry, reading all of these comments? I miss this show SO MUCH. My favorite moment? I can’t pick. I love it all. Any time words are coming out of Logan’s mouth. Any banter between Veronica and Keith. I wish I could choose one of the many brilliant witticisms, but I have to be all romantical and go with the Logan/Veronica kiss in “Weapons of Class Destruction.”

  37. Kelley on October 11th, 2007 6:47 pm

Like most have said, it is so hard to pick a favorite moment, but if I had to pick one it would be Logan and Veronica’s first kiss. Oh how I miss the LoVe!

  38. Gina Olson on October 11th, 2007 6:48 pm

I love reading everyones favorite moments in VM. I’ve tried not to think about this show when the realization that it wasn’t coming back kind of smacked me in the head. I think GMMR should just randomly pop up a favorite moments in tv shows from seasons past and we can all remanice together!

Okay my favorite moment, just about all the previous posts were my favorite, so I’ll come up with a different one. I liked when Dick and Logan were sitting around the pool and they gave each other “the secret signal”, that even I didn’t know, for which I later went onto message boards to figure it out. When I found out what it meant, it made me love VM even more because that was all Rob Thomas, the genius behind the characters. It was like he was sending us all a signal, for us to laugh at because it had gotten through all the sensors or something.
Kind of like the Paris Hilton and PCD comments Keith made, sort of sent symbolic FU’s to the powers that be.

  39. Katie on October 11th, 2007 6:56 pm

One favorite VM moment? That is really hard to do. Logan and Veronica dancing to “Sway” by The Perishers, every conversation between Veronica and Keith. the scene where there is something wrong in Veronica’s car and it’s blocking traffic – Dick says something rude to her and she walks up to logan and gets the knife he’s using to cut an apple and fixes her car and just before Logan turns to go, they have a moment. And basically everything else. I miss this show soo much!

  40. Shumona on October 11th, 2007 6:56 pm

oh man do I ever miss this show. I’m starting to feel really soppy-sad after reading through some of these…

a few lines of dialogue that always stick out in my head:
Logan: As a rule, I like to start every school day with a hot blonde waiting for me in the parking lot.
    Veronica: Me too!
    Logan: I’m not blonde!
    Veronica: Or hot.

also, the moment where Wallace tries to get sappy after he cleans out his locker, when they both still think Veronica is going to be going to Stanford. Wallace and Veronica had a lot of great moments, I miss their friendship so much.

and for a heartbreaking moment – the scene in the Season 2 finale when Veronica and Logan rush into Mac’s hotel room, after the showdown on the roof with Beaver – seeing Mac huddled all alone in the corner of the room devastates me everytime.

  41. allison on October 11th, 2007 7:00 pm

First of all, I love everything Veronica Mars so it’s difficult to choose just one moment, but here’s one of them. I love when Veronica bakes Wallace the snickerdoodles. Not only are snickerdoodles my favorite cookie, but it showed what close friends they were. But then again I also love every moment with Mac, Corny or Deputy Leo in it.

  42. Christine on October 11th, 2007 7:23 pm

My favorite memories of “Veronica Mars” are of the scenes between Veronica and Keith. They had such a unique father-daughter relationship — always watching out for one another and sharing an odd sense of humor. Their quip always made me laugh!

Keith: You’ll never guess who stopped by today.
Veronica: If you say Josh Hartnett, I am going to be so bummed.

My sister and I are definitely two disappointed fans — we miss Veronica Mars so much. Guess we’ll have to settle for watching the reruns on DVD!

  43. Bonnie on October 11th, 2007 7:31 pm

There are so many great VM memories to choose from. I’m going to go with the last ep of Season 1, when Veronica has solved Lily’s murder and dreams of her and Lily on the rafts as “Lily Dreams On” plays on the soundtrack. A really moving moment, and it showed the audience how important the closure of Lily’s death was for Veronica. I miss VM!

  44. Em on October 11th, 2007 7:32 pm

The first Logan and Veronica kiss – I know, predictable.

  45. Sus on October 11th, 2007 7:34 pm

    **cries into her dinner**

    Oh, I miss this show!

The moment that’s standing out to me right now is when Wallace’s mom walks in the room right when V lifts up her shirt. Classic!

Runner-up is when Keith and V are talking and he says, “I don’t be-LIEEEEVE you!” because it reminds me of his character in Galaxy Quest…and the fact that he’s awesome.

  46. Carrie on October 11th, 2007 7:35 pm

It’s so hard to pick one, but it would have to be when Logan and Veronica walk into Logan’s surprise party and he grabs her hand and threatens to kick out anyone who doesn’t like his “girlfriend.” OH, LOGAN. I love you.

  47. Sus on October 11th, 2007 7:37 pm

Sorry for the duplicate comment. It kept not showing up. 🙁

  49. Kalie on October 11th, 2007 8:02 pm

You know, I enter these things every time and I never win, so I’m hoping this time’s a charm. It’s difficult to pick out one favorite moment, because the show had so many during it’s one. But the scene in “A Trip to the Dentist” in which Veronica confronts Duncan really stood out to me. Not only was the scene well-acted from the two of them, but I was literally torn between crying and hanging my mouth open in clear shock. I didn’t think the show would go there at all and it’s a kind of topic you rarely see discussed on non-cable television. I didn’t get into the show until the summer after its first season, but that moment really sealed it for me that this show is willing to go outside the box in different directions.

  50. Alison on October 11th, 2007 8:10 pm

Though it may be cliche, and I know saying it sounds cliche sounds cliche, maybe I’m being cliche, I don’t care…

    Whoops. Wrong show.

Anyway, my favorite VM moment is the motel LoVe kiss just because my best friend who got me addicted to the show reacts like a crazy person every time we watch it.

I haven’t seen much of season 3, so I’d love a copy of the DVD!

  51. Lyn on October 11th, 2007 8:15 pm

My favorite Logan-Veronica conversation (from second season, not word for word, but close):

L: I love finding a hot blond waiting for me in the parking lot.

    V: Me too.

    L: I’m not blond.

    V: Or hot.

  52. Crystal on October 11th, 2007 8:35 pm

The moment that will always have a special place in my heart, the moment that made me fall in love with Veronica Mars…

    Jackie: Make me a macchiatto!
    Veronica: Poof! You’re a macchiatto.

  53. Ellie on October 11th, 2007 8:36 pm

    Veronica mars… shes a marshmellow

  54. Jill on October 11th, 2007 8:43 pm

so many to choose from, but i actually like the last moment, where he says “someday” and they make eye contact…you just know it’s not even close to over between them.

  55. JK on October 11th, 2007 8:59 pm

Wow, only one favorite moment? Well, I’m not exactly sure when it happened, but probably the moment that I fell in love with Logan Echolls. I loved it whenever Veronica asked if her present was a pony…oh, and pretty much any time that Logan saves Veronica in the nick of time. I am a newly converted Veronica fan, and while I’ve seen all of Seasons one and two, I have yet to see all of Season three. Poor Veronica…only the good shows get cancelled early. 🙁

  56. Anne on October 11th, 2007 9:12 pm

Anything with Logan & Veronica in it. Possibly when she pronounced him “officially a bad boy…”?

  57. annyong on October 11th, 2007 9:35 pm

Wallace: I suddenly feel like I’m in a scene from “The Outsiders”.
    Veronica: Be cool, Soda Pop.

  58. MD on October 11th, 2007 9:40 pm

I love the Alterna Prom episode. When the Mike Doughty song starts playing and Logan starts talking about how their love is epic. That is the best scene ever!!

  59. Jackie on October 11th, 2007 10:04 pm

WAAYY too many! But, classic LoVe–when this kissed outside Johnathan Taylor Thomas’ hotel room. It was the moment that we were all waiting for and when it happened, I melted!!!

  60. Sara on October 11th, 2007 10:16 pm

Like so many have said, it is very difficult to pick one favorite moment. My favorite Veronica/Logan moment is in the second season, at the dance where Gia is annoying Logan and Veronica interrupts just as he is going to let loose and pulls him to the dance floor. That dance…no words, but so much was said via body language (Bell and Dohring rock at nonvocal communication). And I love any scene with Keith, Mac, and Vinnie Van Lowe (not necessarily together, but wouldn’t that have been awesome).

  61. Sarra on October 11th, 2007 10:35 pm

Well, any VM fan knows there isn’t just one great moment. I have a few, including any Logan-Veronica banter and Keith-Veronica love, but I think its in the first season with the whole poker debacle:
Veronica: I love the smell of testosterone in the morning.
Logan: This is why I suggested attack dogs, but no, my mother wanted an Alpaca.
    ….
Logan: I’ve been meaning to ask you something. Does your super sleuth kit come with a decoder ring? Do you have a pen that writes with invisible ink? Never mind. Don’t care. Mush! Mush!
…And pretty much any time Veronica says anything. I miss this show =(

  62. jenintx on October 11th, 2007 11:12 pm

Can I have two? The moment that nearly destroyed my DVD player is Logan and Veronica in the bathroom making out. Holy hotness Batman! I need a glass of ice water just thinking about it. But one of the best moments that showed off Veronica’s sheer badassery was when she stood up for Mandy and called that jerk a cockroach who would die alone. Oh, if I could have been that witty and confident in high school…

  63. leslie on October 11th, 2007 11:21 pm

As everyone else wrote, it’s hard to choose just one but for me, it’s got to be a scene from “An Echolls Family Christmas,” which got me hooked on VM forever! Love the scene when Logan tells Veronica to “Annoy, tiny blonde one! Annoy like the wind!”

  64. JennyL on October 12th, 2007 12:12 am

I miss this show a lot. I have lots of favourites – like the mouth dropping scene where Veronica and Logan kiss outside the motel!! But classic favourite is “Mars Bars” episode where Veronica is in jail. The dialogue between her and her father and Logan is hilarious. Her “my little pony” tattoo..so funny!!! 🙂

  65. Karen on October 12th, 2007 12:37 am

My favorite all time moment came early in S1 when she says “This is my over the moon face.” Brilliant. It’s too bad that the show was cancelled. It was so great!

  66. sim on October 12th, 2007 12:57 am

I always loved the conversations between Veronica and Logan; not only the cute quick-wit ones, but the tense ones, also.
Veronica: I want to get to a place with you where we can be really…intimate.
Logan: That’s what a female praying mantis says right before she bites the male’s head off.

I’d have to say the one episode that I really liked was when Veronica found out Mercer was the rapist. That fight scene was so intense. I also loved how Logan went and bashed the police car’s windshield to get to Mercer in the jail cell.

  67. Sascha on October 12th, 2007 5:29 am

My favorite scene was in 1×21 the confrontation between Duncan and Veronica. The whole confrontation was an emotional thrillride which ends with the “YOU`RE MY SISTER!” Bomb.

    Awesome scene from both actors.

  68. Jennie on October 12th, 2007 8:27 am

Just reading through a few posts, a lot of people had the same favorite moments that I do! So that takes the pressure off and I can pick just one of the other 50 I have. My all time favorite moment was when Keith told Veronica about the DNA tests (the tears came instantly with that moment, I have never been so insanely happy for fictional characters). But coming in second because it was good TV and made my heart hurt was the morning after she thought Cassidy blew up her dad, and she smelled bacon, and ran out into the living room yelling “Dad?!” and Logan was there, and she broke down…..with all the smart assery the show does so well, that kind of moment makes me realize why the show is so incredible.

I also like when Veronica told their R.A. that their room was Canada because she did a little mini rock-out.

  69. leslie on October 12th, 2007 10:07 am

I’m still in denial over Veronica Mars cancellation… my favorite “moment” would have to be the alternaprom since it is what got me hooked in the first place. I had not watched VM before and happened to change the channel in time to see the awkward elevator ride up (and Butter’s comments on the space elevator) and then the Epic speech followed shortly thereafter by the heartbreaking meeting of V & L the next morning. I was intrigued and immediately went out and bought the first season, watching from the time I got home from work until about 4am each night until I finished.

oh, and since I haven’t seen it mentioned yet, I liked Veronica’s chemistry with Clif. Of course, she had chemistry with everyone but I really liked the banter they had.

  70. Crystal on October 12th, 2007 10:27 am

I am still heartbroken that Veronica Mars was cancelled by The CW. It was so brilliantly written, and Kristen Bell is such an amazingly versatile actress. (I’m looking forward to her character’s appearance on Heroes.) At least I’ll have my DVDs, so I can rewatch all of my favorite episodes over and over again. So what is my favorite moment from VM? That’s a hard one, because there are so many incredible ones to choose from. By far Season 1 is my absolute favorite of the 3, so I guess I’ll choose a scene from the first season. How about the one in “Weapons of Class Destruction” where Veronica and Logan kiss for the first time? Sure its probably high on everyone’s list of favorite scenes, but this is when I realized that I really wanted LoVe to be a couple. Their bickering and witty banter always produced some of my favorite scenes and most quotable moments.

  71. Annie on October 12th, 2007 11:57 am

There are so many great moments, but my favorite scene was definitely when Logan came to “save” Veronica’s at the motel followed by their first kiss.

  72. lauren on October 12th, 2007 12:07 pm

it’s been said but one of my favorite moments is when logan bashes in a car so he can land in jail with mercer. at first, you’re like, what is he doing, that’s not mercer’s car. then you realize. he’s gonna kick some mercer ass. in jail. oh logan, you are so awesomely bad.

  73. theEvilAngel on October 12th, 2007 12:12 pm

one of my fav moments was probably when Mac was at that college party wearing the T-shirt that said: “ask me about my std”…

  74. CFO (not my initials) on October 12th, 2007 12:40 pm

Season 1: The reveal that Logan’s dad was doin’ the naughty with Lily.
    I FELL OFF MY COUCH!
I had enjoyed the whole season (and subsequent seasons) but that was when I knew the writers were genius.

I use this moment, too, because I could never pick just one Logan moment!
Except maybe when he saves Veronica on the roof….

  75. Deb on October 12th, 2007 2:07 pm

My favorite moment was in “Clash of the Tritons.” I liked the part where Veronica is taking photos of the Tritons and says, “Hi, everyone! Say ‘repressed homosexuality’!” Then she runs, jumps into her car, and Wallace drives away.

If only that could really happen.

  76. Lisa on October 12th, 2007 3:26 pm

Well I do enjoy all the Logan/Veronica moments, like their secret relationship complete with bathroom make out scenes, his drunken confession to her at the anti-prom, or how about when he exhales to calm himself down after seeing her in that dress earlier in the night. Good stuff. But I think I’m going to go with Papa Mars telling V that he was her really Daddy. That moment gives me chills and makes me tear up no matter how many times I see it (and I’m not one who is prone to the tears). Their relationship (minus the PI stuff) reminds me alot of my relationship with my Pop and I just loved seeing that on screen.

  77. Scooter McGavin on October 12th, 2007 4:21 pm

This is easy: I (Heart) Dick t-shirt.

  78. Mannie on October 12th, 2007 4:48 pm

This is VERY hard. There are so many. I guess my all time favorite moment was when Logan saved Veronica from the hotel and they had their first kiss. I watched that scene SO many times and still do to this day.

  79. Sullivus on October 12th, 2007 4:59 pm

So many good moments, but there is one that stands out as the unquestionable best….

Season one – Veronica is trying to figure out how to steal the recording of the tip line tapes for the Lily Kane Murder…. She brings Deputy Leo pizza and the two of them are eating it when Weevil walks in and starts complaining about the noise in his neighborhood (leaving VM to steal the tapes). Ending with the fact that in the next election the Sheriff should not expect the vote of “Eli Navaro Esquire!”

  80. Erin on October 12th, 2007 6:14 pm

The moment that made me love the show and in turn my family and friends, I then also made love it, was the season 1 ending. When I figured out with Veronica, who was behind Lilly’s death and their whole climatic ending to the case. I seriously feared for Veronica’s life and felt every emotion and realized the amazing writing and acting in the show. It was one of the best episodes of tv I have ever watched. I really miss it this tv season.

  81. Jessica on October 12th, 2007 6:24 pm

How to pick just one moment???!!! Everything about the show was unique and wonderful. But the funniest moment has to be after graduation. Keith hands Veronica the envelope, she sniffs and tests it, then squeals “A pony!?”. Such a great payoff and one of the few light moments in the episode. Besides, how cute is Kristen Bell when she says that?

  82. Megan on October 12th, 2007 7:21 pm

It was, it had to be, when she finally opened the door after the summer break and Logan was there and they were so happy and in LoVe and perfect. God, Logan was hott. Ugh. Sorry, slight sexy flashback! I miss this show SO much!

  83. Jennifer on October 12th, 2007 7:56 pm

To echo the sentiments of everyone who posted before me, picking one favorite moment from this show is basically impossible. This gem, from the series finale, illustrated not only the fine talent of the awesome Ms. Kristen Bell (who has been great as the “gossip girl” and is motivating me to watch Heroes), but the fact that the writing was still up to snuff, and the show was cancelled well before its time:

Veronica (to DicK): “After all these years do you not instinctively fear me? Maybe you should write yourself a note.”

  84. Dena on October 12th, 2007 9:19 pm

My all time favorite moment is the first episode where Wallace calls Veronica a marshmallow. Awwww.

  85. Dawn on October 12th, 2007 9:30 pm

I loved the part in the last episode where Veronica is dreaming about Lily and Lily says “Don’t forget me, Veronica” and Veronica says “I could never.” So sad but such a great scene for the end of the season.

  86. Megan on October 12th, 2007 10:34 pm

First one that comes to mind is Veronica and Logan’s first kiss – I love watching that episode with other people seeing it for the first time because everyone freaks out. Also, Veronica realizing that Keith is her dad. Tear jerker scene for sure…

  87. Myriam on October 12th, 2007 11:42 pm

I think my favorite Veronica Moment was when she was at Parker’s birthday and the elevator doors opened on a sad Logan as she was kissing Piz. I wasnt super fond of season three and I noticed barely any of the favorite moments came from the last season, but I think that moment was the quintessential LoVe moment, as in season 1 and 2, its always Veronica who moves on fast and Logan who gets left behind.

  88. Martin on October 13th, 2007 4:20 am

I didn’t start watching VM until season 2 and it took me a while to finally rent and watch season 1 on DVD. I finally watched the season 1 finale just last night and it was great. But my favorite episode was was A Trip to The Dentist. So many great moments like Veronica and Duncan’s emotional confrontation where he tells her they had sex at Shelly Pomroy’s party and she is his sister. Or when Veronica finds the camera in Logan’s poolhouse and calls Weevil to pick her up. I couldn’t wait to see the finale to find out how they would wrap up so many storylines in 1 episode.

  89. Kevin on October 13th, 2007 1:16 pm

First of all canceling VM was a travesty and I will absolutely still not watch any of the CW shows. I just don’t trust them not to cancel a good thing….

My favorite moment is in Season One when Wallace is asking Veronica why she’s never heard of a famous rapper, “you’re going to lose your cred with your urban demographic” (or something like that)… Just one of the many hilarious lines on every episode.

  90. Katherine on October 13th, 2007 4:16 pm

Although it is very hard to choose one moment, I’d say my favorite is the scene between Logan and Veronica in “Look Who’s Stalking.” It’s beautifully written and shot, I love what Logan has to say about their love being epic. I’m also a huge fan of “I Hear the Bells,” the song in the background, so that makes it even better to me.

  92. Anastasia on October 13th, 2007 7:47 pm

  93. Nancy on October 13th, 2007 11:35 pm

Hmm…there’s a lot, but when push comes to shove, I think I’d say “Sway”.

  94. archyhick on October 14th, 2007 12:23 am

I didn’t start watching this show until S3 (at the constant urging by Ausiello in his columns), but I was hooked in the first episode when she said “frak.” I’m just sad that the show and I didn’t have more time. *sniff*

  95. Tracy on October 14th, 2007 3:36 pm

I don’t know if this is over, but I have been drowning in Midterms.

Sooooo, my favorite moment of VM ever!?!? That’s not even fair to ask. But probably the moment when my mom and I were sitting on my couch after ANTM or something and some new show came on, right then, with the first Veronica-Voice-Over, that would have to be my favorite moment.

(and when Logan grabs her hand at the party at the end of season one. i love hands. i love hand holding. i looooove angst.)

  96. Jeanne on October 14th, 2007 5:45 pm

    Can I still enter?

Choosing just one moment? That’s pretty tough. For now I’ll say, the Lo/Ve Alterna-Prom scene 🙂

  97. Chelsea on October 14th, 2007 5:58 pm

I guess I would have to go with the first LoVe kiss at the Camelot. It was a classic.

  98. Stefanie on October 14th, 2007 8:05 pm

Ok so it was pretty difficult to choose just one. Here’s mine: the scene after Veronica is attacked in the parking garage and she pushes the alarm button on her keyless entry thingy and her car alarm is going off like crazy and Logan uses his Spidey-sense and realizes that it’s Veronica and she’s in trouble, and then he saves her!

  100. Trisha on October 15th, 2007 11:27 am

My favorite moment is at the end of season one when Veronica is having that dream about her and Lily floating in the pool. It was so sad.

  101. Sarah on October 15th, 2007 12:08 pm

How about when Wallace tastes the snickerdoodles Veronica is baking and knows that she — Veronica Mars! — has been making his spirit boxes?!! It’s a cool nod to the depth of Veronica’s character and a great Wallace-and-Veronica moment…I love these best friends!

  102. Bronwyn on October 15th, 2007 1:02 pm

Goodness, most of the great ones have been mentioned a number of times. I still love the season finale the best when Keith saves Veronica from the fire. She’s always under control and every other line she’s saying something witty and it was interesting to see the role switched a bit in that sense. Any Keith/Veronica moment is usually brilliant but for me that scene takes the cake. I’m apparently a fan of the damsel in distress thing when it comes to a strong character like her because Logan finding her after nearly having her head shaved and being raped was a close second.

  103. carrie f. on October 15th, 2007 1:13 pm

I loved all of the brilliant references to pop culture in every episode, one of my favorites being season three’s “Rob Thomas is a whore” line. I had been waiting for a Matchbox 20 jab for years!

  104. Daphne on October 15th, 2007 3:06 pm

this might sound trite & won’t win me the dvds, but my favorite is the end of “weapons of class destruction”–where logan & veronica kiss! it was something i never knew i wanted but it felt so right & i was completely enthralled. still my favorite episode.

  105. Brooke on October 15th, 2007 4:25 pm

Any scene involving Veronica and Dick. Too funny. But this one, from the Series Finale lives in my memory.

    Veronica: Dick, get out here.
Dick: (in a small voice) What’s up, V?
Veronica: If you had to bet?
Dick: Look, from a guy’s perspective, the video just made your stock go up. You looked great. Enthusiasm? Always a plus.
Veronica: It’s like, you’re this giant, jackass piñata, begging for someone to be the candy out of you.

Veronica: After all these years, do you not instinctively fear me? Maybe you should write yourself a note.

  106. Rebecca on October 15th, 2007 6:13 pm

I’ve been a fan of Veronica Mars for a few years now, and I think it was a brilliant show. Absolutely fantastic, and it brightened up my weeks. So thanks for that.
My favorite part, the one that sticks in my mind now and probably will for a while, is at the end of season one, after Veronica solves the Lily’s murder and she is rescued by her dad. I remember them standing by the ambulances, and then Jake Kane coming out of his car and screaming at Aaron “You killed my daughter!” and the rest. I don’t know why it resounded so much with me, but that level of raw emotion that I saw and heard made me cry for the first time while watching Veronica Mars, and made me realize that this was a show that I HAD to watch, no questions about it.

  107. BrokenBrain on October 15th, 2007 6:23 pm

The S1 arc of Lily’s murder was so compelling. I am not sure I can pick a moment or scene. Although the S2 bus crash and rooftop reveal were pretty amazing as well.

  108. Desiree on October 15th, 2007 6:30 pm

What can i say, i miss Veronica Mars so much, my fave moment was the first kiss between Veronica and Logan outside the motel

  109. michelle on October 15th, 2007 9:26 pm

Why, oh, why was Veronica Mars canceled? I suppose I will just have to watch it perpetually on DVD. Too bad there were only 3 seasons. I’d have to say my favorite moment was Logan and Veronica’s first kiss in Season 1. I wish someone would kiss me like that!

  110. Ashley on October 15th, 2007 9:38 pm

Oh man. One scene is way too hard. I loved anything that had the lovely Veronica taking on Lamb! They were so funny to watch. I really wanted to see them work a case together.

But in choosing my favorite moment I would have to go with Alterno-Prom. I mean the ending wasn’t th exact way I wanted it to be but Veronica finally admitted to herself that she had real feelings for Logan.

The roof-top scene was also fabulous as well. Creepy Cassidy going psycho was amazing and Logan coming to the rescue was priceless.

And finally any Keith/Veronica and Wallace/Veronica scene was always what I needed. There was def. not enough Wallace and Keith/ Veronica moments in the last season. I mean where did Ronnie’s best friend go. LOL.

Anyway, Veronica Mars I miss you and know I need to go watcha Moonlight clip with Jason in it!!

  111. Geri on October 15th, 2007 9:43 pm

I’ll go with the Weevil/Logan banter & bonding session in detention, only because it’s the first thing that came to mind. I miss VMars. 🙁

  112. Elise on October 15th, 2007 10:57 pm

I know this isn’t original, but I adore the alterna-prom in Look Who’s Stalking. The Mike Doughty song playing in the background, Logan’s speech of their epic love, and Veronica’s look of shock all played a part in making this a moment I rewatched a million times.

  113. Lizzy on October 16th, 2007 12:28 am

    It’s so hard to choose!
    My favorite scene? Epic love.
My favorite episode? Season one finale.

  114. Jill on October 16th, 2007 12:15 pm

There’s so many favorite scenes, mainly because there’s so many great LoVe scenes! I think my favorite though is LoVe’s first kiss. It was sweet and confusing and adorable.

I’ll really miss Veronica and Logan’s relationship!

  115. Amanda on October 16th, 2007 12:53 pm

I love the exchange between Logan and Veronica in Plan B:

Veronica: I need you to do something for me.
Logan: Veronica, ask not what Logan can do for you, but what you can do for Logan.
Veronica: That’s gonna get old real soon.
Logan: Let me know when that time comes. Until then, you know me: I’ll just be speaking softly and carrying a big stick. God, you’re a pest.
Veronica: Tell me everything you remember about the night Felix was killed.
Logan: You do know I’ve been cleared of all charges, right? The whole ‘dead Felix’ business has lost its intrigue for me. Once something stops being important to me, my memory gets a little fuzz – wait. Who are you?

I just think this typifies a lot of what I like about their relationship AND the show – the snappy dialogue especially. And you gotta love that Logan is honorary deputy mayor whilst wearing his “SLACKER” shirt.

  116. Parina on October 16th, 2007 4:26 pm

As weird as this may sound, my favorite Veronica Mars moment doesn’t even involve Veronica. It actually involves Mac, Beaver, and Dick with that whole tranny hooker thing. I thought that was the funniest thing that Mac and Beaver could do to Dick. Plus, we got to see the budding romance of Mac and Beaver before he went all “MY NAME IS CASSIDY!!!” on us.

  117. Shannon on October 16th, 2007 4:52 pm

My favorite VM moment? Alright – we’ll go with one besides the obvious first LoVe kiss. The moment I knew I loved this show was when I watched An Echolls Family Christmas. I got into the show after the first season – when they did the reruns in the summer – and this was the first episode I saw. I loved everything about it. Logan and Duncan in matching boxers. Veronica playing poker – Veronica coming in as Logan says “Ho Ho Ho” – Logan joking about juevos rancheros – “Annoy tiny blond one – annoy like the wind”. Too many – this episode is perfection – and remains my favorite – You could see the chemistry between Logan and Veronica from a mile away. Love it!!

  118. Susan on October 16th, 2007 5:57 pm

I think my favorite VM moment is at the end of Happy Go Lucky when Wallace says: “I just wanted to say…it was worth getting taped to a pole. Gonna miss you.” Only Veronica Mars could make something that painful and humiliating worth it.

  119. Katie on October 16th, 2007 7:39 pm

All time fav moment? EASY! Veronica and Logan’s first kiss. My stomach drops and I get a little thrill from it everytime I watch it!!! I so daydream that I’m Veronica….

  120. Ben on October 16th, 2007 8:19 pm

Can’t narrow it down to just one thing, but I love the interaction between Veronica and Weevil. They always made the best team…

  121. Lisa on October 16th, 2007 8:34 pm

P.S. to my post from 4 days ago: I realize this is shameless … but my birthday is on October 21st, so VM season 3 would be an awesome gift. I know it’s random … but I’m just putting it out there. 😉

  122. Kate on October 17th, 2007 4:19 pm

My fav VM moment is probably the “Sway” dance scene with LoVe. They were so cute and I just wanted them to kiss then so bad!!
And my honorable mention is a totally random moment I don’t even remember what episode it is from or what the episode is about but it somehow involves fake deer, and Veronica says something like “I hate fake deer, too. Everytime I see one of their stupid fake deer faces I just wanna grab a shotgun and go all Cheney on them”. I had to pause the TIVO because I was laughing so hard after that one.

  123. Hrvoje on October 17th, 2007 4:30 pm

    great contest!

One of among lots of great ones, is 2×20 “Look Who’s Stalking” moment at the beginning of the episode.
Just after the doctor reports Veronica that she got chlamydia, starts this V’s monologue:

“So, my grandma Reynolds was always saying, “when life gives you lemons,
make lemonade.” I wish she was still alive, because I’d really like to ask what she suggests for when life gives you chlamydia. ”

It’s a such a shame that show has been canceled, I have a feeling we won’t be watching sth that good for a very long time…

  124. Sheryl on October 17th, 2007 7:56 pm

Season 1 episode 1 when Veronica calls for backup and her dog jumps out of the back seat. I loved that humor :o)

  125. Yvette on October 17th, 2007 9:51 pm

Only one? Yet there are so many memorable moments on VM. But I would have to say the scene at the Alterna-Prom between Veronica and Logan.

Logan: I thought our story was epic, you know? You and me.
    Veronica: Epic how?
Logan: Spanning years and continents. Lives ruined, bloodshed, epic. But summer’s almost here. We won’t see each other at all. Then you’ll leave town then…and then it’s over.
    Veronica: Logan…
Logan: I’m sorry. About last summer. If I could do it over…
Veronica: Come on. Ruined lives, bloodshed? You really think a relationship should be that hard?
Logan: No one writes songs about the ones that come easy.

This scene is one of the most memorable LoVe moments and demonstrated what their relationship is all about.

  126. simone on October 18th, 2007 2:32 pm

ok. nothing beats that first time watching them kiss on the camelot. i was not expecting it at all and then boom, and momentary thing starts up. clearly there are others, but i still remember the feeling of seeing it for the first time.

  127. Jordan on October 18th, 2007 6:51 pm

My favorite VM scene is Veronica and Logan’s first kiss at the Camelot is “Weapons of Class Destruction.” That has to be my most replayed scene at 28:52. Like others have said, the music fit perfectly also.

  128. Michigrl73 on October 20th, 2007 8:37 pm

I have to say I LoVe the S2 eps where Logan and Veronica are hating all over each other but you just know where it’s going to end up. Sarcastic Logan is almost as great as tortured endearing Logan.

  129. Ashley Rowland on October 23rd, 2007 8:19 pm

R.I.P. Veronica Mars. You are missed.

There were two standout moments that took my breath away in this amazing show. Both LoVe scenes, of course. 🙂

The first was in Season 2 and the episode “Plan B.” Veronica and Logan’s dance. The Perishers’ “Sway” playing in the background. The look on Logan’s face. Enough said.

The second came in Season 2’s “Look Who’s Stalking.” Logan drunkenly called the LoVe story “epic.” Mike Doughty’s “I Hear the Bells” played as Logan leaned in for the kiss..

.. and Veronica pulled away. I got chills.

  130. Logan on October 27th, 2007 5:22 pm

The S1 finally was awesome! Aaron trappin Veronica in the freezer was so cool. Of course you knew nothing really bad would happen but I just loved how it all came together.

And anything wit Weevil. He’s a really cool good/bad guy.

  131. Donise on February 22nd, 2008 11:20 am

I love veronica mars the show is so awesome. My fav episode was wen veronica thought she was bein kidnaped by the guy how likes 2 blow up stuff and she called logan and he came to her rescue. Then they went outside and shared there first kiss. I loved it their whole relationship was so beautiful. I was so sad to c it end. I luv veronica mars and the show it great I also luv logan echolls he is such a hottie lol

  132. Amu on April 17th, 2009 11:08 am

I know the contest is over….but i am not here to win the DVD…because i already own them…

I wanted to leave a note on my favourite scene on VM….I totally agree with all people above that the FIRST KISS at the Camelot is something that will remain in History for best-on screen chemistry and the beginning of a relationship OF THE BEST COUPLE ON SCREEN….it is definitely one of my fav scenes from VM….

But the one scene I watch over and over again…atleast 30 to 40 times each day is the one in Season 1 Episode 19 “Hot Dogs”…the SECOND KISS between LoVe…it is so real and my heart beats faster every time i see it..EVERY TIME…and i have seen it like a million times…but still it gets to me everytime…..

Here goes the scene word to word……
Logan: “Do you think Lilly loved Weevil?”
Veronica : “I dont Know…Lilly never mentioned anything to me about Weevil
I was wondering when you are going to ask me about that…
Logan: Well…I dont know…When you are caught in the bedroom…you know…i guess you gotta think..
Veronica: You are handling it a lot better than I thought you would….
Logan: I loved Lilly and Lilly loved Guys….
    Veronica: Logan…..you know she..
Logan: No…she used to say…that her parents worshipped Duncan and tolerated her…and if she could’nt please them she would go out of her way to Piss them off….and Weevil and I must have been perfect for that…
Veronica: I know Lilly loved you…
Logan: just not like I loved her….
Its Ok….no…you know…it kinda lets me off the hook..you know…you know.. i dont have to feel guilty anymore….
    Veronica: Feel guilty abt what…
Logan: (Love the look on his face here…) Moving on….

AND THEY KISS….IT IS SO REAL…so PASSIONATE…SO I WANT BE IN THAT MOMENT type of kiss….the music is the bakground makes my blood race in my veins everytime…i love it so much that it is my ringtone from like 2 years now…

    Veronica: What are we doing?
    Logan: Smiles….No Idea…..
Again they kiss…and they know that what they are doing is crazy because after all the public display of hatred…this is least expected from them…but they cant deny the attraction that lurks behind…and hence have to eventually give in to it….they give in and decide to deal with consequences later…(which is good for us….right…)

Veronica: We need to talk about this…
    Logan: I know…
Veronica: Maybe we should keep this to ourselves for a while and see what happens…(worried about involving herself with her best friends boyfriend….confused abt the hate/resentment from earlier encounters after Lilly’s death)
Logan: You mean in Mop Closets and passage to secret nooks in the Hallway….
Again there is a moment of hestitation from Veronica…maybe she is doing something worng…

Logan: (love how he keeps caressing her cheeks and gently brushes of her hair from her face when he says this…true romance…) Come on…I will drive you home on the back streets

….then she looks him in the eye…sees his commitment to make the new found liking/attraction/ mutual respect for each other work….smiles and comes to terms that she indeed wants to be with him…even if it means to be secretive…and he leads her to the car…like a true gentlemen opens the door for her to be seated…all the while still looking at her as though she is his Prized Pocession….

This is when they(at least veronica) realise the chemistry between them is undeniable….they are meant to get together….if you remember the scene after this she tells Deputy Leo how she cant see him anymore though she knows how good he is for her….because in heart of hearts she know that the hatred Logan and She inflicted on each other after Lilly’s Murder was circumstantial…and they would eventually get over this resentment….and end up together….

LOVE VM….and LoVe….hope they give a beter closure to this relationship than the one in the Finale of Season 3….
