Who Won THE AMAZING RACE?

May 10, 2009 by

SPOILER ALERT!  SPOILER ALERT!  SPOILER ALERT!

The final leg of THE AMAZING RACE saw three times heading towards the finish line. Tammy & Victor, Kara & Jamie, Margie & Luke raced to finish first and take home the $1M prize.

Tonight’s task involved carrying a pig, jet skiing to find clues and the recalling important moment from throughout the race.

But in the end only one team could win, and that team was….

Tammy and Victor!!!

Friends Jamie and Cara came in second. Mother/son team Margie & Luke finished a respectable third.

I was pulling from Margie & Luke to take it all, and coming into the final task it seemed like a win was in reach. But it was not meant to be.

Congrats to Tammy and Victor on their AMAZING RACE win!!

Did your favorite team win? I can’t deny that Tammy and Victor ran an amazing race (pun not intended but it’s easy so there you go).  As long as it wasn’t Cara and Jamie it’s all good by me.

As long as it wasn’t that whiney Luke with his enabling mother and the RUDE cheerleaders I am soooo happy that Tammy & Victor won!

I was torn about the three finalists:

-I liked Margie and Luke for most of the race, but I thought their handling of the incident with Kisha and Jen was totally rude and inappropriate
-Jamie and Cara showed why American tourists are disliked all over the world… as someone told them in the finale: “we are not your personal concierge”
-I hated them at first, Victor was very annoying. I didn’t like the way they played the “my parents will be ashamed if we don’t win” card in China, but I thought Tammy was cool and they were overall the best team.

I was pulling for Tammy and Victor the whole time, so I was ecstatic that they won. My team never wins.

I’m just glad I never have to hear Jamie and Cara say words ever again.
