Someone Give Ellen Pompeo a Big Mac

I've noticed that over the course of this past year that Grey's Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo has become the incredible shrinking surgical intern. But now she is starting to look scary. The other night I was watching Grey's with two of my girlfriends, and we all gasped everytime they showed a full body shot of Meredith. It was disturbing. To be honest, she's in scrubs and a lab coat so much that it's hard to tell, but the shots of her outside of the hospital, in her everyday clothes, well it's all a little revealing.

I couldn't find the right pictures to illustrate my point, but I think these work well enough. The first shot is of Ellen take right before the premiere of Grey's Anatomy. And the 2nd one was taken recently. It's not just her figure...check out her eyes, her skin.

She's got that whole Renee Zellweger thing going on that bugs me. And of course I'm jealous that she got Patrick Dempsey. I've had a crush on him since Can't Buy Me Love.

::sigh:: Why is it that so many of these starlets feel the need to turn themselves into skeletons the moment they get an important part on a successful tv-show/movie?

Sarah Michelle Gellar, Jessica Alba, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Lindsay Lohan, Nicole Richie... the list goes on and on. And why? Do they actually think they're more attractive with pencil-like arms/legs and their collar bones and ribs sticking out?

Such a waste.

Thank God for actresses like Katherine Heigl - a beautiful and also HEALTHY looking young woman.

Here, here oric! Women should have curves not pointy places. From the look of her lately, I'm thinking Ms. Pompeo may be doing the Hollywood diet. Coke and cigarettes.

Seriously, why does everyone ALWAYS assume when someone is thin that they have an eating disorder. I mean, a lot of actresses do. Most of the time all you hear about is overweight people trying to lose weight. But does anyone even realize that some people are naturally skinny and it's hard for them to GAIN weight. When I was younger I was extremely thin and I was accused of having an eating disorder all the time when I didn't. It's just as bad and hurts just as much to try to gain weight and be accused of having an eating disorder as it is to try and lose weight and be told you're fat constantly.
