“The Doll in the Derby”
Brennan and Booth investigate the death of a female roller derby skater whose body was dismembered. In order to get more answers, they enlist Angie to go undercover as a derby skater. Meanwhile, Cam tries to uncover the details behind Booth’s secretive hospital appointments. [Also, BONES writer Michael Peterson shared his inspiration for writing the episode.]

How I Met Your Mother | 8pm on CBS
“P.S. I Love You”
Barney uncovers the lost episode of Robin’s “Underneath the Tunes” as Robin Sparkles. Meanwhile, Marshall and Lily are concerned that Ted’s new girlfriend is a stalker. Canadian celebrities including Alan Thicke, Jason Priestley, Paul Shaffer, Alex Trebek, K.D. Lang, Steven Page, Geddy Lee and Luc Robataille guest stars as themselves. James Van Der Beek guest stars as Simon, Abby Elliot guest stars as Jeanette, Ted’s newest girlfriend, and Dave Thomas as music agent Chuck Gerusi.

The Carrie Diaries | 8pm on The CW
“Fright Night”
When Carrie is invited to a Halloween party in the city by Larissa, she decides to invite Walt to go with her to keep her company. It doesn’t take long before the night goes awry and Carrie is forced to babysit Larissa, who has clearly taken too many drugs. Walt finds himself in an uncomfortable position after a party guest gets a little too close for comfort. Elsewhere, Maggie convinces Mouse to go with her to Sebastian’s Halloween party at the diner to help keep tabs on him. After Doritt’s attempt to sneak out of the house is thwarted, she discovers hanging out with her father isn’t so bad.

The Bachelor | 8pm on ABC
“Episode 1705”
A two-night Bachelor special event begins with Sean whisking the remaining 11 bachelorettes away to picturesque Whitefish, Montana, to explore his romantic connections. But the outspoken Tierra and sweet natured Jackie face off in the dramatic two-on-one date, and one of them will be sent home immediately. The Bachelor attempts to escalate his relationship with Lindsay to new heights when the couple takes an astounding helicopter ride over the gorgeous mountains of Montana’s Glacier National Park. Eight women get to compete in a Montana relay race, including milking goats, with the winning team getting to spend more time with Sean. And one controversial bachelorette continues to cause a firestorm in the house, leaving Sean to worry if he will ever find his wife here

The Biggest Loser | 8pm on NBC
“Lead By Example”
It’s the halfway point in the season, and the contestants find out that the weight of only one player on each team will count this week, but they won’t know who it will be until the weigh-in. With this week’s theme of “Leading by example,” trainers Bob, Jillian and Dolvett skype with kid participants Biingo, Sunny and Lindsay, and motivate each one to do just that. While Sunny creates a circuit training routine for her fellow classmates, Biingo tries to recruit more friends to his after-school sports club. Lindsay gives an anti-bullying speech to her peers, joined by special guest Cody Simpson, who also talks about his experience being teased before performing for the kids. The adult contestants compete in a crazy challenge requiring them to avoid three swinging pendulums while walking on a balance beam to retrieve calorie-coded plates matching five specific dishes. Later, during last chance workouts, Dolvett’s team has a special visit with five-time undefeated world champion fighter Laila Ali, who put them through a fun and challenging boxing workout.

“Liz Moves In”
Liz temporarily moves in with Jeff and Audrey, and quickly irritates Audrey when she takes Jeff’s side on everything. Meanwhile, Adam and Timmy team up to beat the rest of the company at ping pong.

A new follower is found in Rick (guest star Michael Drayer), who is on a determined path to follow through on Carroll’s orders. Hardy and the FBI attempt to predict Rick’s course of revenge, which leads to a surprising outcome. Meanwhile, Paul’s jealousy over Emma and Jacob’s relationship leads to a breaking point, and the origin of Hardy and Carroll’s relationship is revealed.

2 Broke Girls | 9pm on CBS
“And The Psychic Shakedown”
After discovering that Candy Andy closed up his shop following their breakup, Caroline visits a psychic for a reading about her future love life.

“Here Comes Honey Bye Bye”
Naomi and Max see a marriage counselor to decide if they are going to stay married, while Teddy tells Silver he won’t ruin her chance to have a baby if she agrees to his terms. Navid uses Liam’s celebrity status to help him get into an elite secret society and Annie rushes to tell Riley her true feelings before he undergoes an experimental surgery.

“Carl Gets a Roommate”
Mike begins transforming the basement into a living area for him and Molly to live in, but the construction work is more than he – or his eyebrows – can handle. Meanwhile, Carl invites Samuel to live with him.

Castle | 10pm on ABC
“Recoil”
While investigating the murder of a young woman, Castle and Beckett find evidence that links her death with Senator William H. Bracken (guest star Jack Coleman returns), the man responsible for Beckett’s mother’s murder. Determined to finally bring Bracken to justice, Beckett soon realizes that things are far more complicated than they seem. [And CASTLE’s Jack Coleman teased his return to the series here!]

Hawaii Five-0 | 10pm on CBS
“Hookman”
Five-0 investigates when a mysterious man targets select police officers for revenge and McGarrett is the next on his hit list. “Hookman,” the original series’ season six Emmy Award-winning premiere episode (original airdate Sept. 11, 1973), centered around a double amputee out to avenge the loss of his hands by killing the police officers responsible, including McGarrett. In the updated version, McGarrett’s father was one of the officers responsible for his maiming.
