SUPERGIRL Photo: Jon Cryer Debuts as Lex Luthor

Lex Luthor is making his way to SUPERGIRL.

Jon Cryer is portraying the iconic villain on The CW series, and he’ll make his debut on the Sunday, March 17 hour. (It’s, appropriately, entitled “O Brother, Where Art Thou?”) Per The CW, “Lex Luthor reaches out from prison to enlist Lena (Katie McGrath) into one of his plans and will stop at nothing to get her on board, even if that means leveraging the life of one of her friends.”

“It’s a big Lena story this season,” executive producer Robert Rovner explained to reporters earlier this season. “[Lex] weaves into the narrative we’re telling.”
