Pop TV is running a marathon to celebrate ER’s 25th anniversary (which debuted September 19, 1994)—and they’re focusing on some of the biggest guest stars.

“Episode 119 – LOVE’S LABOR LOST

Airs Sunday, September 15 at 2pm ET/PT

Guest starring Bradley Whitford

Dr. Benton has to deal with the aftermath of his mother’s fall and crosses the line with the surgical attending when he insists on scrubbing in for her operation. Mark misdiagnoses a pregnant woman, who returns to the ER shortly afterward. The ER staff works frantically to save Jodi O’Brien and her baby in this Emmy-Award winning episode.

Episode 205 – AND BABY MAKES TWO

Airs Sunday, September 15 at 3pm ET/PT

Guest starring Lucy Liu

Lewis agonizes over what to do about her baby niece. Benton treats a woman who is being abused by her policeman husband. Carter dazzles the staff. Greene and Ross argue about the young AIDS patient. 

Episode 310– HOMELESS FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Jeanie finally divulges her HIV status to her co-workers. Ross befriends Charlie, a homeless 14-year-old girl. He brings her to Hathaway’s house where her family is celebrating a Ukranian Christmas. Hathaway agrees to let Charlie spend the night. Keaton refuses to recommed Benton for the next pediatric surgery rotation because of his remote manner. After inviting Gant to attend a family holiday party with him, Carter reneges to be with Keaton. Gant is depressed because his girlfriend ended their relationship.

Episode 315 – THE LONG WAY AROUND

Guest starring Ewan McGregor

Although she is suspended from work, Hathaway experiences a busy day when she and a store full of customers are taken hostage. While hostage, Hathaway uses her medical skills and crude implements from the store to help the victims.

Episode 507 – HAZED AND CONFUSED

Guest starring Octavia Spencer

Frustrated with her inability to conceive, Hathaway confronts a pregnant woman opting for abortion. Weaver derives enjoyment from seeing Anspaugh muddle through as interim chief.  The committee interviews Dr. Amanda Lee (MARE WINNINGHAM), who appears to be the first choice for the position as chief. Greene enjoys the male camaraderie at the fire station with the paramedics and firefighters until they try to initiate him with a hazing ritual. Corday’s judgment falters after working for 36 hours without rest.

In order to get her paitient to tell her the location of a missing body, Corday agrees to grant him a fatal wish.  Kovac befriends two brothers. He tells Weaver that his wife and children died in the Bosnian war.  Former medical student Deb Chen returns to County General as a resident, using her Chinese name, Jing-Mei Chen. The strong-willed Chen tries to assist a gay female runaway whose parents want to send her to a treatment center for gender identity. After escaping from his retirement facility, Greene’s father barricades himself in his home in San Diego. 

Episode 619 – THE FASTEST YEAR

Guest starring Dakota Fanning

Carter seeks psychiatric help because he can’t sleep. He then visits the wife of his attacker. Weaver returns to work after her suspension. Hathaway and Kovac share a kiss. Benton’s sister believes that Cleo is not serious about him. Abby tries to convince the teenage half sister of a leukemia patient to get tested to see if she’s a bone marrow match for a transplant. After his father is treated for pneumonia and released from the hospital, Greene takes Greene Sr. to Lake Michigan.

Episode 1106 – TIME OF DEATH

Guest starring Ray Liotta – his heart-breaking performance earned a well-deserved Emmy.

This groundbreaking episode traces real-time events in the emergency room as Kovac, Abby and Sam struggle to save the life of Charlie Metcalf (RAY LIOTTA – “GoodFellas,” “Field of Dreams”), a man who complains of stomach pain but is later diagnosed with a life-threatening condition.

Episode 1519 – OLD TIMES

Airs Sunday, September 15 at 11pm ET/PT

Guest starring Susan Sarandon, Rooney Mara, Ariel Winter

Neela and Sam are shocked when they arrive back to the airport with transplant organs only to find that their plane has left them. Dr. Carter gets a surprise visit from an old friend (guest star ERIQ LA SALLE) while waiting for his kidney transplant. Dr. Banfield bonds with an abandoned baby boy that is left at the ER.”
