THE BLACKLIST: NBC Pays Homage to Brian Dennehy with Special Re-Air of ‘Rassvet’

To honor Brian Dennehy, who passed away this week at 81, NBC is reairing one of his THE BLACKLIST episodes.

Dennehy, who first appeared on the drama in 2016, appeared in eight episodes as Dominic Wilkinson. NBC is reairing the 2019 hour “Rassvet,” which explored Dom’s backstory and his relationship with his daughter, Katarina Rostova (Lotte Verbeek). The hour will air Friday, April 17 at 9/8c. (After a new episode, which will air at 8/7c.)

Here’s the logline for the hour: “Alone in a foreign country after a mission goes catastrophically wrong, Katarina Rostova (guest star Lotte Verbeek) goes on the run to avoid the forces trying to hunt her down. Isolated and out of options, she seeks out the only person she trusts, a man who has vowed to always protect her. Gabriel Mann and Brian Dennehy also guest star.”
