THE MASKED SINGER 4 is doing an intriguing first: a two-person costume.

The Snow Owls, who will debut in the season premiere, will compete as one unit…and be (eventually) revealed at the same time. (What will be interesting to discover is if the duo are actually tied together in any known way. If they’re not, it could make figuring their identities out even more complicated.)

Watch a tease of the two contestants…

They join previously announced season 4 characters including Gremlin, Broccoli, Popcorn, Seahorse, Jellyfish, Mushroom, Squiggly Monster, Dragon, Baby Alien, Giraffe, Whatchamacallit, Sun, and Crocodile.

THE MASKED SINGER is hosted by Nick Cannon, with Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, and Robin Thicke judging.

The season is currently in production now.

THE MASKED SINGER, Season Premiere, Wednesday, September 23, 8/7c, Fox
