MANIFEST Exclusive Clip: Olive and Angelina Prepare for Prom

It’s time for a special MANIFEST prom on the Thursday, April 22 episode of the NBC drama.

As Olive (Luna Blaise) prepares for her big night, she leans on new friend Angelina (Holly Taylor), who brought her to the big dance.

But with so much of Olive’s life routinely feeling abnormal—not every teen has their twin, father, and aunt disappear for five years on a plane, only to return the same age as they were when they left—trying to reconcile something as basic as a prom is hard.

“Normal?” Olive says in the exclusive video below. “That’s weird. Does that sound crazy?”

“It’s exactly what you need,” Angelina reassures her.

Angelina does her part as a dutiful friend, giving Olive a corsage from Ben (Josh Dallas) and taking photos of her in her dress. But when Olive tries to include Angelina—another 828er who never got to go to her own prom thanks to her own missing five years—in the process, Angelina realizes it’s not what she wants.

“Going to yours won’t bring my prom back,” Angelina admits. But she has a request: Olive go and enjoy the experience.
