ANNIE LIVE!: Tituss Burgess to Play Rooster

Tituss Burgess has joined the cast of ANNIE LIVE! as Rooster, NBC announced.

“I’ve always wanted to be a villain,” said Burgess in a statement. Rooster is the “underhanded brother of the ruthless Miss Hannigan, played by Taraji P. Henson. Together they will hatch a plan to deceive Harry Connick Jr’s Daddy Warbucks and Nicole Scherzinger’s Grace to make a fortune off of little orphan Annie.”

The live production will air Thursday, December 2 on NBC.
