NEXT LEVEL CHEF: L-R: Mentors Nyesha Arrington, Gordon Ramsay and Richard Blaise in the “The Final Level” episode of NEXT LEVEL CHEF airing Wednesday, March 2 (8:00-9:00 ET/PT) on FOX © 2022 FOX Media LLC. CR: FOX.

Fox has renewed drama 9-1-1: LONE STAR for its fourth season, the network announced.

Additionally, comedies CALL ME KAT and WELCOME TO FLATCH have been renewed for season 3 and 4, respectively.

Notably, 9-1-1 and THE RESIDENT are still MIA on the renewal list, but “we’re in good faith negotiations,” Charlie Collier, CEO, FOX Entertainment, said during a conference call with reporters.

“We think we’re in pretty good shape [to bring both shows back],” he continued. “We adore Ryan [Murphy], we’re so pleased to have 9-1-1: LONE STAR locked and loaded. We feel pretty good about it.”

The network has also set which show will get its post-Super Bowl time slot: the season 2 premiere of NEXT LEVEL CHEF. (On Sunday, February 12.) The series is “the next evolution in cooking competitions, with a one-of-a-kind culinary gauntlet set on an iconic stage that looms over three stories high. Each level contains a stunningly different kitchen — from the glistening top floor to the challenging bottom of the basement, the ingredients match the environment, because Ramsay believes the true test of great chefs is not only what they can do in the best of circumstances, but what kind of magic they can create in the worst! Joined by two elite names in the food world, chefs Nyesha Arrington and Richard Blais, Ramsay once again will open the competition and scour the country for the very best line cooks, home chefs, social media stars, food truck owners and everything in between and take them under their wings. With a level playing field, each cook will compete with the goal of finding the food world’s newest superstar! Gordon Ramsay, Lisa Edwards and Matt Cahoon serve as executive producers on NEXT LEVEL CHEF.”
