Let’s talk about Thursday night’s TV!

BIG BROTHER: Normally on Thursdays, I try to avoid social media/spoilers, but due to the ongoing strike negotiations, I had my eye on what was going on…which meant I saw some trends that implied Jared and Cam were out. I was bummed to be spoiled, but it made sense.

But then I watched the episode.

Yeah, that all ended up being correct, but when Cam wasn’t tipped off about Jared and Cirie’s connection—something that would have been insane to see him be told, given how much he blew any chance of allying with Jared by revealing he wanted to take her out—my “uh oh” senses started tingling. I thought, perhaps, the jury twist was a lie (though it felt dumb to lie about it), but them being zombies…oh boy.

It feels like the twists have impacted the gameplay more this year than the past few. If Cam had been successful in taking Jag out—and to be clear, I’m glad Jag stayed—it would have changed the power balance in the house. Now, no matter what, it seems like either Cameron or Jared will be staying. That is going to deeply, deeply, deeply impact things.

(Also, everyone trying to target Cirie so she wouldn’t win HoH? I wish she had won just to shut them up.)
