I CAN SEE YOUR VOICE Exclusive Clip: The Panelists Debate the Vocal Talent of the Child Star and the Professor

Boyz II Men’s Shawn Stockman and comedian Ron Funches join the guest panel on the Thursday, May 23 episode of I CAN SEE YOUR VOICE to see if they can successfully detect whether people are good or bad singers.

In an exclusive clip from the hour, the panel—including permanent panelists Cheryl Hines and Adrienne Bailon-Houghton—give their thoughts about two potential singers: the Child Star and the Professor.

“The Child Star, he does this vibrato thing,” Stockman says in the video below. “And normally when someone does a vibrato, they kind of—” and then the man puts on a show while demonstrating how to properly utilize that vocal tool.

But, Stockman notes, the Child Star didn’t do that—he thinks he’s a bad singer.

Here’s what Fox teases about the hour:: “Hosted by Ken Jeong, permanent panelists Cheryl Hines and Adrienne Bailon-Houghton and a rotating panel of guest celebrity detectives must help one contestant tell the difference between good and bad singers, without ever hearing them sing a note. With $100,000 on the line, each contestant will attempt to weed out the bad “Secret Voices” from the good, based on a series of clues, interrogation, and lip synch challenges. In the end, the singer whom the contestant picks will reveal if they are good or bad in a duet performance with musical superstar Shawn Stockman, resulting in an amazing musical collaboration – or a totally hilarious train wreck.”
