About Last Night…THE MASKED SINGER

Let’s talk about Wednesday night’s TV!THE MASKED SINGER: After covering the remote IDOL and THE VOICE finales, it was a little surreal to be able to watch THE MASKED SINGER go on as planned, with crowds (due to the show being pre-taped).

I’m glad a woman won, though Night Angel/Kandi wasn’t my personal choice for the winner this year. Frog (Bow Wow) was clearly the better performer and Turtle (Jesse McCartney) was the better singer.

I’m really, really, really curious what the lineup looks like next season. The show got a number of living legends this season, in part due to the show’s continued success and in part probably due to the post-Super Bowl launch. If production is still quasi-shut down, will that open up the field even more?
