Clay Aiken Needs Voice Lessons - Give Me My Remote : Give Me My Remote

Clay Aiken Needs Voice Lessons

December 3, 2006 by

I’m not sure what song is most appropriate for the accompanying video. It’s a toss up between: “You had a bad day…” and “when it’s time to change, it’s time to rearrange…“. Either way, Clay Aiken was not his usual stellar self during a recent performance in Chicago. The song starts off ok, but then deteriorates to the point that my ears started to bleed (around the 3:30 minute mark). People actually started laughing, and I don’t think that’s what Clay was going for. Although I wouldn’t classify myself as a Claymate, I’ve always LOVED his voice. I’m sure he just needs a bit of a vocal break. Someone should put his hand over Clay’s mouth so he can’t talk. Just a thought.

I’ve been completely focused on all things American Idol-esque lately. Aiken, Chris Daughtry’s new album…I can’t wait for the show to start!!

I was at the concert Saturday night. When he sang that song it gave me chills – unware that he flawed the night before.
When I seen it on YouTube I felt really bad for him, because after the first crack..he went for it again.
Saturday night he crossed his fingers and blew everyone away! I’m just worried for his throat since he has to do that song 4 nights in a row. Plus…what “fan” would put that on YouTube for everyone see? Not a very good one.
