Who Won Dancing With The Stars?

I can’t say that I’ve been watching DANCING WITH THE STARS this season, but I know some of you have. Some of you enjoy the dancing and some of you have just been enjoying hottie Julianne Hough (the girl is smokin’, I don’t blame you). But in tonight’s season finale only one celeb walked away with the big trophy.
The winner of this season’s Dancing with the Stars is…
Helio Castroneves!!
The race car driver along with his partner Julianne, sped off with the win. Spice Girl Mel B came in second, and Marie Osmond took third.

Wow. I haven’t watched this season because I wasn’t really a fan of any of their “stars” but congratulations to Julianne for winning 2 years in a row. I bet that Cheryl Burke is pretty jealous right about now.
I cannot believe that Helio won. Not that he isn’t talented but he really should have been third, behind Mel B and Sabrina Bryan (kicked off many weeks ago, but still…after that guest performance today they should have just given her an honorary disco ball trophy…).

Helio winning discredits the show. He got polite applause from the judges as they obviously wanted the better dancer to prevail. That would make up for the Sabrina fiasco a little bit. But it was not to be. Julianne was probably not as excited as with the Apolo win because last season it was more competetive and she knew that her star deserved to win (but so did Joey Fatone).
This goes down as the biggest dud of all the seasons. Mediocre performances all the way. Mel B may not have even made the finals last season. There was so much competition because nobody was that good! But I did want a Sabrina and Mel B showdown. Too bad that a woman STILL can’t win the trophy back!
I was sure rooting for Maks–he’s seems really crushed when he gets voted off. He got screwed when Willa Ford was booted really early. Last season Laila was only as good as 3rd (she couldn’t compete with Joey and Apolo who were phenomenal). This should have been his season!
Marie was fun and she tried real hard. I rooted for her because I could see how much weight she was losing and how much fun she was having. It was theraputic for her I’m sure also with her dramas of late.
But I’ll be there when it comes on again in 2008…..
I am so happy that Helio won, I have been voting for him all season. This season was good, but there were some big upsets all the way. I do believe that Helio deserved to win. I don’t understand how his winning discredits the show. The winner is chosen mostly by the fans. If the fans voted him to win how does that discredit the show. Marie staying on as long as she did shows that it is not up to the judges. The judges also really liked Helio.
It was a great season, there were some upsets, like when Sabrina was voted off. Sabrina did deserve to be in the finals. It sucked that she wasn’t, I am sure her and Mark would have done a great freestyle. However, I think the people that still whine about her getting kicked off need to just accept it. Sabrina and Mark have and they are going on the tour.
I can’t wait for March!!!!!!!!
When a dancer gets an 8 in the FINALS he doesn’t deserve to win. Helio couldn’t even do the jive after 14 weeks. Mel B was robbed! But now she doesn’t have to come back for the 2 second interview at the next finals…..
Meagan, why would Cheryl be jealous. She set the standard on the show and Julianne is following in her footsteps. Julianne was lucky to win, many thought Mel B should have won. IMO Cheryl is still the queen of the dance floor.
