FRINGE: Exclusive Image From ‘Reciprocity’

January 28, 2011 by

FRINGE fans, are you counting down the hours until the next episode like we are?

It’s no secret that Give Me My Remote is quite fond of the show, so we’re here to make the wait a little less painful. Check out an exclusive image from Friday’s brand new hour, “Reciprocity”!

As you can see in the picture below, Peter gets tested at Massive Dynamic to try and get a better understanding of the relationship he has with the Doomsday device. And by the angry look on Walter’s face, it appears he isn’t too thrilled with the situation…

Have any theories as to what has Walter so angry? Any guesses about the relationship between Peter and the Doomsday device?

What is that yellow and black sticker on the side of the CAT or MRI gurney. It doesn’t look like a regular warning sign.

maybe the machine was designed to only accept peters dna

But how would they have had Peter’s specific DNA thousands of years ago? The machine is supposedly from a civilization that existed before dinosaurs. I wonder if it has to do with the disease he had as a child. Maybe anyone who had that disease would cause a reaction from the machine? I really don’t know, but I’m excited to find out!

I’m thinking that Peter is unconscious. Nothing gets to a parent more than their child being sick.

The yellow and black sticker is an warning sign for electrostatic discharge.

I’m thinking it’s not so much “Peter’s” DNA so much as it’s the DNA of someone who has been to both worlds and had enough perspective of what to do with the power the device has. It can create and destroy, so why not use it for good?

Peter’s DNA…hmmm…good one. I was thinking perhaps he had some sort of electronic implants or something…DNA is a way better idea. Can’t wait for tonight.

I’ve read on the Fox Community Forums that it very well could be that Peter was genetically engineered to have the “perfect” DNA sequences. You can see this in the picture of the device Walternate had. There are a 4 letters in a series of sequences: C, G, T, A all in various sequences.

It’s possible that in order for Peter to be able to have stayed ‘over here’, his DNA may have been altered…he could be a type of hybrid…

The yellow sticker is a radioactive warning, I think.
