Give Me My Remote & DuckyxDale Podcast 1.01

September 12, 2006 by

Your two favorite bloggers, Ducky and GMMR have finally gotten around to making a podcast. I know, welcome to 2003 much? Shut it, we’re slow and it’s not nice to make fun of those riding the shortbus.

While we try and figure out all the kinks in the subscription side of this podcasting world and RSS feeds, I offer you the link to listen on your computer.

We hope to bring you exclusive content, interviews, witty banter, bitchy demeanors, cat calls, insults, hugs, kisses, backstabbings, and all the gossip from your favorite shows so please stay tuned… oh yeah, and we hope to be available on iTunes too.

GMMR and Ducky Podcast

Show Notes for our first podcast:

– Dan and Kath introduce themselves, how they met, fell in love and became partners in television blogging crime

– Upcoming Show ideas and aspirations

– Summer Recaps: So You Think You Can Dance, Big Brother All Stars (including our picks to win)

– Fox Fall Thoughts: Prison Break, Vanished, House, Justice

We want to hear from you….

OK GMMRers….this is our FIRST attempt at podcasting, so we went it kind of blind. There’s only one way to go from here, so I hope you’ll stay with us. But here’s the deal, we NEED to know what you think about our first podcasts. What did you like? What did you hate? (Ok don’t be too mean or I will cry). Do you listen to other podcasts? What do you like or dislike about other TV podcasts? Click here to email me and share your constructive criticism.

Oh, that was fun. Got to listen to you guys while I proof-read an 8 page brochure. Maybe not the best idea for my career, but I enjoyed it.

Man – you guys are passionate about Big Brother. That ran a little long for me.

But the rest was nice. It was nice to hear you talk about some of the new shows, especially since it sounds like you both have listened to what you are hearing in your forums and are sure to reflect that and your own opinions.

You also got more comfortable as went along.

Great to hear your voice, after so many emails and posts! I like the witty banter and self-mockery and just the general tone of your and Ducky’s chat. Articulate and fun.

It’s nice to have something that’s more interactive and stream-of-consciousness than blog posts. It’s also cool to hear you be a bit more analytical and critical of the shows, rather than “just the facts”…er…”just the gossip”. 🙂

I did skip past some of the BB and SYTYCD discussions, since I don’t watch those, but tuned back in for talk of fall shows.

Also, so glad you love House! I absolutely dig it. Hugh Laurie is dreamy. Now that you’ll be having a weekly TV boyfriends feature, maybe he’ll be included…?

And one last thing: the fact that you don’t watch procedurals? Only further cements our brain-sharing.

Great job! I loved the SYTYCD part especially (I don’t watch BB, so all of that went over my head). Can’t wait for the TV Boyfriends feature and LOTS of talk about The Office!

It is only PERFECT practice that makes perfect, so finding the right
drills is important. By having an electric guitar, you will probably putting out a higher cost and also need to get an amplifier,
but with the acoustic, it’s simply you and the guitar.
t feel the pain of the pressure when you press on the
    strings of your guitar.
