Another One Leaves American Idol

April 11, 2007 by

If you’re looking to find out who got kicked off on tonight’s episode of AMERICAN IDOL, check it out here: Who Went Home on AMERICAN IDOL (March 26, 2009)

American Idol ResultsThe results are in and no, Sanjaya didn’t go home tonight. Sorry, but I just had to get that out of the way. The bottom three tonight were Chris Richardson, Phil Stacey and Haley Scarnato, but in the end it was….oh wait, there was much more to the show than the results.

First up we had a performance by Akon. Is that how you spell his name? I don’t have a clue, I thought his name was Acorn until about two weeks ago. I didn’t know he was going to be on tonight. Seacrest tells me that we can vote to see who I want to see perform on a future American Idol results show. Unfortunately there’s a list of artists to choose from so my dreams of reuniting the New Kids on the Block have already been dashed. Some day…some day.

Jennifer Lopez was next to perform and get this – SHE DIDN’T LIP SYNCH!! I was truly shocked. Although, as much as I love me some Jenny from the block, I might have liked her to lip synch a bit. The woman is hot as hell, and a fantastic entertainer, but her voice is more suited for the studio than a live setting. That being said, I was glad she went out there and sang live.

Ok so the results. As predicted last night right here on this very blog (and probably half a million others), it was Haley Scarnato and Phil Stacey in the bottom two. And although I predicted that Phil would unfairly leave, it was Haley that was sent home tonight. Leaving with Haley are a boat load of guys that were just watching the show to see her in hot pants.

So Haley’s gone. Sanjaya’s still here. And I convinced that this is the worst season of Idol…ever. When does So You Think You Can Dance come back?!

I watched a little bit of the singing show the other night and it was only the second time I’d watched this season. I have to be honest, I don’t think any of the one’s who’ve made it so far are really good. Some are better than others, but I think it’s a really lackluster season.

However…that Chris guy with the big hair was on Ellen Degeneres yesterday and I thought he was really good! It’s a shame he got booted because of his appearance.

I agree re this being the WORST season ever. I have been a hardcore fan since day one and they have killed my joy. I tape it to fast forward to Melinda (who broke my heart on Tues by being boring, not sexy and dressing like she works at the DMV) and skip the rest. I knew the world had gone haywire when I found Sanjaya to be among the top two on Tues. Cant believe they have managed to destroy my love after 5 seasons….Oh well. I will have many many more hours to my life this spring!

Hoorah! Haley’s gone. I’m sick of her skimpy outfits and pretending that dressing that way wasn’t a part of her plan to stay in the competition.

I too predicted it would be Phil – which is why I threw him a vote. I thought it was Scarnato’s time (not to mention Sanjaya’s time was weeks ago). It worked apparently.

    Sanjaya’s hold is weakening.
We just have to send massive votes to Chris next week, if he does well.

Ditto on the bad season comment. Come join us this summer with Rock Star – you will be so much more impressed.

When are you sweet people going to let the world know how much you are paying Ellen? I loved what Paula did with her dance: I hear you are losing ratings and you blamed Paula! Shame on you! Paula was great with Simon and that is the truth: I hope Paula kicks Ellen so far out of the game that she won’t see it coming! Every time I turn to a station an Ellen is on it I turn the channels! Just put her everywhere and I will just forget tv,all 4 off them and let the kids play games on them Plus as a added bonus NO MORE PAYING TO SEE THIS! Money in the bank for my family1 HA! HA! I dare you to respond if not on tv then you have my e-mail address! Chris
