VERONICA MARS Series Finale…I’m Not Ready

I can’t do it…I can’t say goodbye to VERONICA MARS tonight. It’s not right. It’s too soon. She has to much left to do in this world. Please don’t go Veronica…PLEASE!! Stay with us.
Sadly Veronica’s fate has been decided and no amount of internet pleading or skywriting will save our girl this time. Tonight’s back-to-back 2 episode season finale is her curtain call. After that who knows when we see Veronica, Keith, Logan, Wallace, Mac, Dick, Piz (ok he’ll be on “Private Practice” in the fall) or any other the other Neptunites…Neptuians(?) again?
A few months ago a secret spy slipped me the script for tonight’s first episode (“Weevils Wobble But They Don’t Go Down”). Had I known this was going to be the second to last episode I would not have read it. But at least I can tell you it’s a fantastic ep. One that will lead into what should be a shocking series finale.
Besides the inevitable disappointment that the end of this quality show will naturally bring, I’m actually bummed even more so since creator Rob Thomas is on the record as saying he didn’t write tonight’s show (“The Bitch is Back”) as a series finale, but rather a season finale. Could we be left with unresolved storylines and mysteries? And what about LoVe? Will be left with no LoVe (as the promos imply). Ugh, I can’t even think about it yet.
I’m delaying my friend until tomorrow morning as I won’t be home to watch the show live as it airs tonight. I’ll be sure to open a post for the finale so you all can leave comments and grieve together.
Oh and GiveMeMyRemote.com is going to have a LOT of Veronica Mars stuff today…so be warned!!

The third season concludes with Veronica investigating the origin of a sex tape that features her with Piz. Veronica tries to keep Keith from finding out about the tape and she learns that a person from her past may be involved.

I have the same concerns as you about a non-satisfying series finale. What if they start a new mystery (which they are bound to do) – or even worse leave LoVe unfinished. Maybe for the Season 3 DVD they can tell us where they were headed with the story line…to at least have some finality to it.
I’m not ready to say goodbye yet at all. It’s so depressing.
You know what’s weird. I caught a 3 minute clip of Gossip Girl from Josh Schwartz and the voice-over is from Kristen Bell. I fell like I’m in a bizarro world. Just wanted to add that in.
I do have tons of info from the series finale, but oddly not from the last scene. So, yeah I don’t know how it will end but I can say there will be nods to season one.
I can’t say “good bye” either. This sucks. One of the best shows gone for good.
Well, at least I only have to wait a couple of weeks to see Tina Majorino on my TV. Big Love comes back in June and I hear she has a pretty big role this time.

Starting right now I’m going to be crying for the next 24 hours straight. This is horrible.
Yeah I have to tape the show tonight because I have prior committments. It’s a shame but at least I can fast forward through the commercials.
I have to say I only got into the show in Season 3 (yes, I was part of the problem early on that wouldn’t watch for anything) but this is definitely one of my favorite shows on TV.
Tuesday nights with Gilmore Girls (when it was good) and Veronica Mars was my dream night of TV (and I imagine it’s the same for every other girl that talks to much and knows way too many weird pop references)
Goodbye Tuesday nights….goodbye good shows, hello crappy Pussycat doll show and the death of all that is good and smart on television.
This isn’t fair. Totally isn’t fair. Everyone at VM…You rock and you always will! You’ll be missed!
I am SOOOO depressed by the series finale! So much was left unsaid! We will NEVER know if Logan and Veronica got back together or if Keith won the election. I think it is garbage that the CW canceled the show. They are not going to get any viewers next season. I wish another network would see the value in Veronica and pick it up! I want to see the rest of the college years!!! I can’t believe it is over.. I am still in denial! This was such a clever, witty, and amazing show! We need more of these on the air!
